This project is about a towel for her, since she likes to bathe and swim, after her refreshing bath my son dries her, the cloth she uses is a little worn and it was time to make another one, so I checked my cloth bag and got to work, to make another towel for my spoiled Sharon, the towel is decorated with a scrap of fabric inspired by the sea, I also added purple ruffles with the letters of the fabric that decorate the towel, this craft is easy to make and we can give it many uses at home; as a kitchen cloth, hand towel, bath towel among others, I invite you to join me in the elaboration process.

Hola, hola amigos artesanos y comunidad @hivediy, es un placer saludarles deseando que tengan un excelente fin de semana en unión de sus seres queridos, me siento feliz de compartir un un nuevo proyecto de costura hecho con mucho amor para la mascota de la casa Sharon 🐢❤️, es una linda morrocoya o tortuga de tierra que llegó a nuestra casa hace varios años y se ha convertido en la princesa y consentida de la familia, es una tortuguita muy inteligente y activa, se tiene la creencia de que las tortugas son animales muy lentos y resulta que no es así, si te descuidas se esconden en poco tiempo y caminan más rápido de lo que imaginamos, desde que la hermosa Sharon llegó a nuestra familia la hemos cuidado con amor y cariño, es una mascota adorable a la que queremos mucho.
Este proyecto se trata de una toalla para ella, ya que le gusta bañarse y nadar, después de su refrescante baño mi hijo la seca, el paño que usa está un poco deteriorado y era hora de hacerle otro, así que revisé mi bolsa de tela y me puse mano a la obra, para elaborarle otra toalla a mi consentida Sharon, la toalla está decorada con un retazo de tela inspirada en el mar, agregué también ruffles de color morado a con las letras de la tela que decoran la toalla, esta manualidad es sencilla de hacer y podemos darle muchos usos en casa; como paño de cocina, toalla de mano, toalla para el baño entre otros, les invito a acompañarme en el proceso de elaboración.

**Elaboration**
The making process is very simple and requires few steps. I started by cutting a rectangle, then folded the fabric in half and made semi-round cuts in the corners. Then, I cut a triangle from the scrap of fabric, which will be used to decorate the towel.

El proceso de elaboración es muy sencillo y requiere pocos pasos, inicié cortando un retángulo luego doblé la tela por la mitad e hice cortes semi redondos en las esquinas, luego en el retazos de tela corté un triángulo, que será para decorar la toalla.
The second step was to place the triangle in one of the corners, pin it in place, and sew with a straight stitch.
El segundo paso fue colocar el triángulo en una de las esquinas, sujeté con alfileres, y cosí con puntada recta.
Once I glued the triangle to the corner of the towel, I removed the excess tape, and when I saw how it looked, I thought it was very simple. I added two decorative ribbons to the materials, one purple and the other with a Smurf print.
Pegado el triángulo en la esquina de la toalla, retiré el exceso de tala y al observar como iba quedando me pareció muy sencilla y agregué a los materiales dos cintas para decorar, una de color morado y la otra con estampado de los pitufos.
The next step was to glue ruffles with the purple ribbon on the bottom of the triangle, for this I folded the ribbon and made planks of approximately one (1) centimeter wide, I sewed with a straight stitch and when I finished covering the bottom of the triangle, I placed a decorative ribbon with a Smurf print on top of the ruffles, this ribbon, in addition to decorating the towel, covers the seam of the ruffles and a better finish is obtained.
El siguiente paso fue pegar ruffles con la cinta morada en la parte inferior del triángulo, para ello doblé la cinta e hice tablones de aproximadamente un (1) centímetro de ancho, cosí con puntada recta y al terminar de cubrir la parte inferior del triángulo, coloqué encima de los ruffles una cinta decorativa con estampado de los pitufos, esta cinta además de adornar la toalla cubre la costura de los ruffles y se obtiene un mejor acabado.
To finish, I glued the bias around the edge of the towel, used a decorative stitch, and sewed so that the bias covered both the back and the front. When I reached the starting point, I re-stitched and placed the ends of the ribbon one on top of the other. This is how a beautiful towel is finished for my dear Sharon.
Para finalizar, pegué el sesgo por el contorno de la toalla, utilicé puntada decorativa y cosí de tal forma que el sesgo cubra tanto la parte posterior como la delantera, al llegar al punto de inicio repisé y coloqué los extremos de la cinta uno encima del otro, así está terminada una linda toalla para mi querida Sharon.
