Vienna is a city with a lot of history, but many visitors don't find time to come and see the beautiful Danube. Here you will see photos from the old Danube (Alte Donau), a former river branch of the Danube. It is more like a lake. In the summertime full of boats, swimming people, it feels much more like a summer vacation location than a big city.
Most of the photos are photographed from a boat in the water. I thought many of you have not been there and maybe could enjoy some summer feeling photos.
I love the way one can be very close to swans and ducks. This is not something, which is common in every country.
