A 25-minute walk from San Jose, in Ibiza, is this work of art built on the ruins of a nightclub.
The work of art was made little by little, by lovers of the island who seek to express in these colors, phrases and images, the essence of the pitiusa mayor.
You can clearly read words and phrases like “Open your mind”, “Tourist go home”, “Ibiza”, among drawings that leave you speechless and that speak to you of a parallel reality, the one that many people promote on this island.
Festival Club was created and will continue to be created by the hands of travelers and locals who visit the site, which currently serves even for creative photo shoots.
The energy in this place exceeds the mystical. It is as if for an instant it has a hint of light, but soon, you begin to feel a very dense energy.

# Uno de los lugares más misteriosos de Ibiza: Festival Club, de lujo a ruina

A 25 minutos a pie de San José, en Ibiza, se encuentra esta obra de arte construida sobre las ruinas de una discoteca.
La obra de arte se hizo poco a poco, por amantes de la isla que buscan expresar en estos colores, frases e imágenes, la esencia de la pitiusa mayor.
Podrán leer con claridad palabras y frases como “Open your mind”, “Tourist go home”, “Ibiza”, entre dibujos que te dejan boquiabierta y que te hablan de una realidad paralela, la que muchas personas promueven en esta isla.
Festival Club se creó y se seguirá creando por las manos de viajeros y locales que visiten el sitio, que actualmente sirve incluso para hacer sesiones creativas de fotos.
La energía que hay en este lugar excede lo místico. Es como que por un instante tiene un dejo de luz, pero pronto, se empieza a sentir una energía muy densa.
The place is completely destroyed and the images and messages that you can see, although many are “peaceful”, by the stroke and the power of their colors, somehow approach a certain anger.
It is like a place of pure expression, of pure art, but where art in this case, is expressing more what is repressed, what tends to be silenced, what cannot be said or even what cannot be achieved.
What struck me most in this site, in the positive aspect, was the embrace of nature that receives, and in this way, Ibiza again leaves us in opposite poles tray where creation and destruction are happening in the same instant, where there is death and life in the same moment.
I think it is a place to know for those who enjoy the exotic and novel, but you have to know that you feel something strange there.
El lugar está por completo destruído y las imágenes y los mensajes que pueden ver, aunque muchos son “pacíficos”, por el trazo y por la potencia de sus colores, de alguna manera acercan un cierto enojo.
Es como un lugar de pura expresión, de puro arte, pero donde el arte en este caso, está expresando más lo reprimido, lo que se tiende a callar, lo que no se puede decir o incluso lo que no se puede lograr.
Lo que más me impactó a mí en este sitio, en el aspecto positivo, fue el abrazo de la naturaleza que recibe, y de esta manera, Ibiza otra vez nos deja en bandeja polos opuestos en donde la creación y la destrucción están ocurriendo en el mismo instante, en donde hay muerte y vida en el mismo momento.
Creo que es un lugar a conocer para quien disfruta de lo exótico y novedoso, pero hay que saber que se siente algo extraño allí.
