These photos are from my collection of Rome, in a few days when the Italian autumn was caressing every surface of the *Eternal City*. Fascinated with the walk, with the aromas, with the architecture that soaked my sight with culture and history, at one point I stopped to contemplate, and that sunset filled me with happiness, like so many other moments that Rome gave me. The sun was falling with delicacy and warmth, while looking towards the Ponte Sant'Angelo, St. Peter's Basilica rose in the background, with a dome emblematic of the Vatican City, very much associated with the Roman landscapes.

Estas fotos son de mi colección de Roma, en unos días en los que el otoño italiano acariciaba cada superficie de la *Ciudad Eterna*. Fascinada con la caminata, con los aromas, con la arquitectura que empapaba de cultura e historia mi vista, en un momento me detuve a contemplar, y aquel atardecer me llenó de felicidad, como tantos otros momentos que me regaló Roma. El sol caía con delicadeza y calidez, mientras con la vista hacia el Puente de Sant Angelo se elevaba de fondo la Basílica De San Pedro, con una cúpula emblemática de la Ciudad del Vaticano, muy asociada con los paisajes romanos.

In this series I share different shots, especially with different *zooms*, as I was there somewhat mesmerized by the landscape components that adorned the scene. The plants decorating the walls that make the banks of the Tiber River, some boats passing by from time to time, the movement of the water as a consequence of the breeze, left me there, dazzled for a while, watching and of course photographing. The games with the camera in its lights and shadows also turned out to be an attraction for me in front of that landscape, since suddenly, the silhouette of the dome of St. Peter's and down the rest of the city, contrasted perfectly with the illuminated sky in perfect connection with the eternity of the firmament.

En esta serie comparto diferentes tomas, en especial con distintos *zooms*, ya que quedé allí algo hipnotizada por los componentes del paisaje que adornaban la escena. Las plantas decorando las paredes que hacen de margen del Río Tíber, algunas embarcaciones pasando cada tanto, el movimiento del agua consecuencia de la ayuda de la brisa, me dejaron allí, obnubilada por un buen rato, obvervando y claro que fotografiando. Los juegos con la cámara en sus luces y sombras también resultaron ser un atractivo para mí frente a aquel paisaje, ya que de pronto, la silueta de la cúpula De San Pedro y hacia abajo el resto de ciudad, contrastaba perfectamente con el cielo iluminado en perfecta conexión con la eternidad del firmamento.

The architecture and the material of the bridge also shouted time, history and stories and a lot of culture, and there on the bridge I wondered how much that corner of Rome must have witnessed. My walk to get there had been long that day, and I was still getting to know myself as a solo traveler, so for some reason I thought I had to run to see as much as I could. That moment on the Umberto I Bridge was one of the moments that came to teach me that real travel is not about rushing, but savoring every moment, allowing the body to be there, the mind to imagine and contemplate, and the spirit to expand and merge with that space. There I understood that when we visit a place, a little bit of its energy comes with us when we return home.

La arquitectura y el material del puente además, gritaban tiempo, historia e historias y mucha cultura, y allí en el puente me preguntaba de cuánto habrá sido testigo aquel rincón de Roma. Mi caminata para llegar allí había sido prolongada aquel día, y aún estaba conociéndome como viajera sola, por lo que por algún motivo pensaba que tenía que correr para ver todo lo que pudiera. Ese momento en el Puente Umberto I, fue uno de los momentos que llegaron para enseñarme que en los viajes de verdad no se va a apurada, sino que se saborea cada instante, permitiendo al cuerpo estar allí, a la mente imaginar y contemplar, y al espíritu expandirse y fundirse con ese espacio. Allí comprendí que cuando visitamos un lugar, un poquito de su energía se viene con nosotros cuando volvemos a casa.
