### Español ______ # Un día brillante en el Alucinante concierto de Kygo en Ibiza _________ Hola a toda esta bella comunidad de Hive Argentina, hace unos días fui a ver el closing de Kygo. Específicamente fue el 31 de Agosto. A mí mucho no me gustan los conciertos a decir verdad, pero desde que me quedé con las ganas de ver a The Cranberries porque falleció su vocalista Dolores O'Riordan, tomé la decisión de, en caso de poder ir a algún concierto de alguien que me guste realmente, pues lo haría. Y así pasó con Kygo. De los DJs actuales, es uno de los que más me gustan. Ese estilo **tropical house** realmente vibra mucho conmigo, disfruto esa música y tiene varios temas que suelo escuchar con mucha frecuencia. La entrada tenía un valor de €80, pero igualmente la pagué, fue algo así como un regalo para mí misma.

Specifically, it was on August 31. To be honest, I don't really like concerts, but ever since I missed seeing The Cranberries because their lead singer Dolores O'Riordan passed away, I decided that if I had the chance to go to a concert by someone I really like, I would do it. And that's what happened with Kygo. > Of all the current DJs, he's one of my favorites. That **tropical house** style really resonates with me, I enjoy that music, and he has several songs that I listen to very often. The ticket cost €80, but I paid for it anyway, as a kind of gift to myself.

El concierto igualmente empezaba a las 17:00, y 4 artistas estaban antes que Kygo. Yo llegué a las 19:00 porque iba sola, a ningún conocido que tengo por acá le gusta Kygo y nadie pagaría esa cantidad por acompañarme, así que decidí llegar no muy temprano para no aburrirme. Este evento tuvo lugar en Ushuaïa, un hotel de Ibiza muy reconocido por brindar experiencias únicas, excepcionales. Entre ellas acoge a djs reconocidos a nivel internacional, ofrece desayunos sorpresa, tiene un restaurante de sushi que es un exponente de Ibiza, otro restaurante de renombre, y claro, también tiene el hotel en sí mismo. En este caso Kygo estuvo únicamente un mes brindando este show, cada domingo de agosto.

> The concert also started at 5:00 p.m., and four artists performed before Kygo. I arrived at 7:00 p.m. because I was going alone. None of my friends here like Kygo, and no one would pay that much money to accompany me, so I decided not to arrive too early to avoid getting bored. > This event took place at Ushuaïa, a hotel in Ibiza renowned for offering unique, exceptional experiences. Among other things, it hosts internationally renowned DJs, offers surprise breakfasts, has a sushi restaurant that is a hallmark of Ibiza, another renowned restaurant, and of course, the hotel itself. In this case, Kygo was only there for a month, performing this show every Sunday in August.

El tema con Ushuaïa es que es realmente costoso. No solamente las entradas son caras (y varía el precio según el artista que toque), sino que consumir lo que sea ahí dentro sale una fortuna. Un agua o una cerveza a €18 euros cuando en un supermercado no llegan a €1 el agua y la cerveza apenas €1,50. Vendían cocktails a €22, €25 y botellas que superaban los €500. Yo no consumí nada aquel día porque por un lado no quería beber alcohol y por otro, me negaba a pagar esa cantidad de dinero. Si de pronto me daba mucha sed, sabía que compraría un agua.

> The thing about Ushuaïa is that it's really expensive. Not only are the tickets pricey (and the price varies depending on the artist performing), but consuming anything inside costs a fortune. A bottle of water or a beer costs €18, when in a supermarket water costs less than €1 and beer barely €1.50. > They sold cocktails for €22, €25, and bottles that cost over €500. I didn't buy anything that day because, on the one hand, I didn't want to drink alcohol and, on the other, I refused to pay that amount of money. If I suddenly got very thirsty, I knew I would buy a bottle of water.

El concierto en sí estuvo excelente. Los temas que tocó fueron un éxito detrás del otro y sólo hacia el final me aburrí un poco porque ya llevaba allí 3 horas. Destaco los mixes que agregó y el haber llevado a su closing a los propios cantantes de muchas de sus canciones. Costó llegar a Firestone, que fue su último tema y el que es su ícono. Los juegos de luces fueron impecables como pueden verlo en el video y también lo fue el sonido. Al ser un estilo más chill, la gente no estaba enloquecida ni nada extraño, simplemente bailaban y cantaban. Y el ambiente era tan ameno, al menos al principio, que hasta pude acercarme al escenario y ver a Kygo bastante de cerca.

> The concert itself was excellent. The songs he played were one hit after another, and it was only towards the end that I got a little bored because I had already been there for three hours. > I would highlight the mixes he added and the fact that he brought in the singers of many of his songs for the closing. > It was hard to get to Firestone, which was his last song and his signature tune. The lighting was impeccable, as you can see in the video, and so was the sound. Being a more chill style, people weren't going crazy or anything weird, they were just dancing and singing. And the atmosphere was so pleasant, at least at the beginning, that I was even able to get close to the stage and see Kygo up close.
