Hello there, Hivers!
As it has happened before, the celebration of the month found us far away. @octocel was on a much needed spiritual retreat on the west side of the country while I got myself into a working spree. The day came by and I prepares a surprise of some breakfast made at a location near her.
Once she came back, she invited me for lunch. And since I did not have the mind to pick since I had been sleeping fat too poorly in the previous weeks and even before that day, I let her choose.
She went for an easy pick with La Qdra. This is a burger joint that I have visited on some other occasions and that offers a wide variety of choices. We went for some very beef heavy burgers. This time we also had an extra order of fries since fries are the soul of these meals. The people there also did the favor of cutting the burgers in half.so we could each have a piece of one of them.
And we sat there eating. I just reminded silent listening to the whole story of the trip. The good parts, the bad parts and the weird ones. For me the burger was not the main thing of the day, but rather looking at my girlfriend take some of the stress she had been building on off her shoulders. Now that is a good way to celebrate another month dating.
The food was great. The burgers at that joint are tasty. The problem is that they are a bit too small. But if you want bigger burgers, you can always go to a street vendor and have a usual Venezuelan burger. These are more of the American style.
