Hello there, coffee lovers!

Last week, I had a second coffee after the one on Wednesday, the day I was with @octocel and she was waiting for her packages. In my case, I was on a trip downtown to get some things for the workshop and also getting some checked out!

My purchase was all about the finish of a Mandolin build I was already getting to the last stages. I had to travel back downtown to a car paint shop. I was trying out some new product for the last coats of finish of an instrument. More of that will come in the section related to those works.

After going for that purchase, I had to walk back to the mall. On the previous day, I bought my first vertical mouse. This is something that was on my eye for a long time. It is a good addition to the office gear to keep my wrists working properly. And it is a really comfortable thing. However, the first day I had it, it did not work.

I plug the cable and let it charge until the light went off. Fortunately, technology has evolved to the stage were things like a mouse does not need batteries. It charges via USB and then it works with something that gets plug in another USB ports. But then, the mouse did not do a thing. I tried changing the port. But it seemed the signal was not coming out.

My first thought was it having a sort of factory malfunction. Nevertheless, the fact that the lights were working for something gave me hope. So the idea was going back to the store to get the mouse checked. And so I did. I gave the clerk the mouse. I also had to give my number to get a message when the checkup was ready.

Since it was going to take some time, I took myself to another coffee. And there I was in the bakery with a cup of strong black coffee and a cheese bread. The cashier made a joke about giving me a discount because I come there so often. I hope this one comes true.

I gotta say that a coffee to wait is one of the great things one can do to kill time. The cheese bread has also a property of getting cold very fast. It is amazing. But cold or not, it works properly. And I waited for some minutes in the bakery until I decided to go home and wait for the message.

While at home, I wanted to get the whole workshop task done. But it started to rain. It was also during that time that I got the message. And the rain was not stopping.

And there at home, I took another cup of coffee until the rain stopped and had to go back to the mall to pick up my mouse. And as it turns out, there was nothing wrong with it!
