Hello there, coffee lovers!
Some of the funniest things that have happened during this coffee drinking experiences has definitely forgetting to take the photo of my cup of coffee. I cannot tell you the reason behind it. I do think it was because a lady came by asking for money to get a cup of coffee. And then I stopped taking the photos and just proceeded to drink my coffee.

On Wednesday, @octocel invited me and her cousin to get some coffee. Her treat. We also threw in the mix some pieces of cake and we sat talking about many other things. Her plan was buying a new router for her apartment. It was a necessary thing. Her old router was causing more trouble than anything else. She got the new one and it works like a marvel. Her idea was also getting it online, but the prices were not so different from others in stores around the mall. She then decided to get it at the mall and that was all.
During the coffee, I did take my time to talk to her cousin about the hot topic in gaming, Hollow Knight: Silksong. And we did go down a rabbit hole talking about gaming for quite some time. Many things about the first game and also some other harder games that are similar to the Soulsborne games. It was a weird interaction. It is also a weird thing that her cousin and I are namesakes. He was also one of my students during my first experience during my first ever English courses.
In the end, the sweets we ended having were one made of flaky dough that we call "milhojas" the translation is something like thousand sheets. It is related to the layers of thin dough. It also has a custard and a covering that is usually powdered sugar or dulce de leche. @octocel had a tres leches. This is an amazing cake that is soaked in three kinds of milk and also has some merengue and cinnamon. My choice was a weird thing I saw called San Antonio cake. It is a chocolate cake with nuts and spices. That was the interesting note. The spices and a less sweet cake was the perfect combination with my regular black coffee. It was an surprisingly good cake.
However, the high note of the afternoon was the coffee. It was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo of it. The things that happen during the days. This serves like a lesson to say something like coffee are the friends and conversations we made and had during a day.
