Coffee Musings | She is Back!

Hello there, coffee lovers!

@octocel was away for two weeks. She went on a trip to get along with her friends. It is something that happens on occasions on the year since her social life is outside the city. I do not mind. It is an interesting decision. Also, there is not too much to do in Cumana.

And while she was gone, I threw myself into a work bender. I did a lot of work in the workshop and also getting some classes, teaching some things and more. Work, work, work. All this was done with the help of some coffee. However, it was always coffee at home.

She came back on Wednesday this week. We did not see each other that day since she was coming tired from more than 15 hours of travel. I did the sensible thing and told her to get some rest. I already had plans. And they involved getting into a birthday celebration.

We have gotten back into dating. We went for lunch on Thursday after my class. We went for coffee yesterday. The idea was going after I attended my 5th class at the Social Media workshop. It was a nice class on the topic of how to create campaigns and add some marketing in the mix. Really good class overall!

So after going out, I went looking for her and we went for coffee. We added a sweet treat to this. It is the kind of thing I would call a cold and wet dessert. It was full of dark chocolate. And it was amazing. I went with my usual Americano and she wanted a Cappuccino.

And we spent a great time sitting and talking about just the kind of normal stuff one would go over during dates. Like having a date today after I teach my classes. It seems I have gone almost full-time teacher. It is not like that but whenever I get to write these posts I am near the time of my classes. Teaching on Saturday is an interesting thing. It helps busy people. I also get a rest from workshop duties. I can only work so much with my tools and I cannot afford getting an injury from overworking myself in the physical sense. It might be too troublesome.

Anyways, we enjoyed the dessert so much that after having our coffee, we went for a frozen yogurt with kiwi, strawberry and a drizzle of honey. A nice way to finish the night. Although we went shopping and I got myself a jean jacket. That is the kind of clothing that I have never had. I have seen that a lot. My mother and my father both had one of those.

It is amazing how things move and go over after getting a coffee. It is the start of good ideas. Or maybe of some irresponsible spending.
