New Coffee Mug

Hello there, Hivers!

I have not had good luck with coffee mugs. Some of the ones I have had, well, have had accidents and are now used for other things.

It is funny. Then the one I was using for quite some time just got a nasty crack and I cannot use it anymore. There is no way to pinpoint the exact time when I got my gray mug. It must have been something of a family party or something akin to that. The thing is that I must have had that mug for more than ten years. It worked just fine.

I stopped using it when I got one for a writing contest. It was a great prize. But I used too much the mug and it seems it has made with some cheap ceramic. The ear of the mug was chipping. So I had to stop using it. The idea of it falling down and breaking into pieces was a bad thought.

The second mug was actually a gift of some years ago. It was a mug with a Pokemon design. It was the coolest mug ever. Disaster struck one day I got up after a bad night of sleep. Then I took the mug out of the cabinet, it slipped. The mug broke into pieces. And I spent a lot of time cursing. Then I got the pieces and practiced some kintsugi to get it back together and use it as another holder for pencils or other things. So at least I saved the gift in some way.

After the crack of the reliable mug, I had to go around and look for a new one. There were plenty of option from designs and colors. In the end, I decided to get this blue one. It was either it or a gray one. The gray was a bit too pale for my liking. I have been using this new mug for some time now. It is nice. It holds a lot more than my previous mug. And it has gone through many microwave trips since I was sick and making lots of tea while I recovered.

I had to get a new mug as soon as the previous one stopped working. I have a metallic one, but I cannot put that one in the microwave.
