Update on that New Curation System

I never realized the amount of hours I have to waste before coming to a conclusion that consulting the record was a hopeless cause. Majority of the authors previously voted by this account went inactive for at least a month and that’s not a good sign at all. Just goes to show how much quality content authors went inactive even before HF20.

This means I have to create a new list through old school manual curation. Maybe it is for the best, I wouldn’t want this account’s VP being upvoted to the wrong set of authors that do more shitposting than good content.

I previously mentioned that the recipients of the upvotes from this account include:

Communal accounts that host projects I support. Filipino quality content creators I have reviewed. Non-filipino quality content creators I have reviewed

And the recipients of downvotes would obviously be those authors that commit abuse as per SteemCleaners and SteemFlagRewards abuse guidelines. You can expect this account’s VP will be used for upvoting and downvoting as previously stated.

The reason for the increase in audience to support is realizing there is less room for growth keeping the system as is. Voting apathy is a prevalent thing and most follow the direction of where their self interests lies. While I could talk about ways to earn in the platform through supporting other authors in the process, I expect the concept of it being foreign to selfish players in the platform.

Until I can finally finish that initial list of authors to be on auto upvote, I’ll just have to content squinting at the damn computer screen wondering what happened to the people that went inactive. Feel free to reach out to me at discord.
