Al optar por reciclar estas prendas, no solo estamos dando una nueva oportunidad a la tela, sino que también estamos contribuyendo al cuidado del medio ambiente.La moda sostenible es una tendencia que cada vez cobra más fuerza, y nosotros queremos ser parte de este movimiento. Las franelas son una pieza básica en cualquier guardarropa; sin embargo, al agregarles un diseño único y creativo, logramos transformarlas en algo especial y original.

It's a true pleasure to share this exciting project with you: a t-shirt design made from denim, reusing pants that have already reached their end of life. Paso nro 1
Inicié este emocionante proyecto cortando ambas piezas, la delantera y la trasera, en microdurazno. Debo decir que esta tela me gusta mucho, ya que he podido crear varias prendas con ella gracias a su versatilidad. Es una opción ideal para diferentes estilos y ocasiones.Una vez que tuve las piezas cortadas, me dirigí al diseño principal y protagonista de la franela: una mitad de flor en mezclilla. Para ello, corté una media luna que simula el centro de una flor, dividiéndola por la mitad. Este detalle es fundamental para darle un toque especial y único a la prenda.A continuación, procedí a cortar los pétalos, utilizando mezclilla en varios tonos. Elegí diferentes colores para que generaran un contraste atractivo y vibrante.

Paso nro 1
I started this exciting project by cutting both the front and back pieces in micro peach. I must say I really like this fabric, as I've been able to create several garments with it thanks to its versatility. It's an ideal choice for different styles and occasions. Once I had the pieces cut, I moved on to the main design of the flannel: a half-flower in denim. To do this, I cut a half-moon that simulates the center of a flower, dividing it in half. This detail is essential to give the garment a special and unique touch. Next, I cut the petals, using denim in various shades. I chose different colors to create an attractive and vibrant contrast.

Para asegurar que todo quedara en su lugar mientras trabajaba, fijé las piezas con alfileres. Esta técnica es fundamental para evitar que se muevan durante el proceso de costura, garantizando un acabado limpio y profesional.Al momento de coser, opté por utilizar una costura recta. Le di varias pasadas al hilo amarillo, ya que quería que se notara y resaltara en el diseño. Este detalle no solo aporta un toque de color vibrante, sino que también añade un elemento visual interesante que atrae la atención hacia la flor.Además, a la media luna le apliqué una costura en cuadros, lo que le da un efecto texturizado y un acabado más dinámico.

To ensure everything stayed in place while I worked, I pinned the pieces together. This technique is essential to prevent them from shifting during the sewing process, ensuring a clean and professional finish. When sewing, I opted for a straight stitch. I used several passes of the yellow thread, as I wanted it to stand out and pop in the design. This detail not only adds a vibrant pop of color but also an interesting visual element that draws attention to the flower. Additionally, I applied a checkered stitch to the crescent moon, giving it a textured effect and a more dynamic finish.

Una vez que tuve lista la protagonista de la prenda, que es el diseño de la flor, me dirigí a cortar las mangas básicas. Para complementar el look, decidí añadir un cuello que le diera un toque final y elegante a la franela. Este detalle no solo realza el diseño, sino que también aporta un aire más sofisticado a la prenda.Después de cortar las mangas y el cuello, procedí a asegurar los ruedos de las mangas y de la parte inferior de la franela. Este paso es crucial para garantizar que los bordes queden bien terminados y evitar que se deshilachen con el uso. Utilicé una costura recta para los ruedos, asegurándome de que todo estuviera alineado y en su lugar.

Once I had the centerpiece of the garment, the flower design, ready, I moved on to cutting the basic sleeves. To complete the look, I decided to add a collar to give the flannel a final, elegant touch. This detail not only enhances the design but also gives the garment a more sophisticated feel. After cutting the sleeves and collar, I proceeded to secure the hems of the sleeves and the bottom of the flannel. This step is crucial to ensure the edges are neatly finished and prevent them from fraying with wear. I used a straight seam for the hems, ensuring everything was aligned and in place.

Por último, realicé los últimos retoques para culminar esta bella camisa. Me aseguré de que cada detalle estuviera perfecto, revisando las costuras y ajustando cualquier imperfección. Este proceso de refinamiento es fundamental para garantizar que la prenda no solo luzca bien, sino que también sea cómoda y funcional.Con estos toques finales, la camisa está lista para usar y disfrutar de su hermoso diseño.

Finally, I put the finishing touches on this beautiful shirt. I made sure every detail was perfect, checking the seams and adjusting any imperfections. This refining process is critical to ensuring the garment not only looks good but is also comfortable and functional. With these finishing touches, the shirt is ready to wear and enjoy its beautiful design.
