Es importante recordar que siempre doblo la tela a la mitad, asegurándome de hacerlo hacia el lado que estira más. Esto garantiza que la prenda tenga la flexibilidad y comodidad necesarias.Antes de comenzar a cortar, hice algunas pruebas con retazos de tela de microdurasno para ver cómo se comportaría el material y si el patrón se ajustaba correctamente. Esto es fundamental, ya que a veces, aunque un patrón se vea bien en papel, puede no funcionar igual en tela.Una vez que estuve satisfecha con la prueba, procedí a marcar y cortar la tela con cuidado, asegurándome de que todas las piezas estuvieran alineadas correctamente. Before starting to cut, I did some tests with scraps of microdurano fabric to see how the material would behave and if the pattern would fit correctly. This is essential, as sometimes, even if a pattern looks good on paper, it may not work the same on fabric. Once I was satisfied with the test, I proceeded to mark and carefully cut the fabric, making sure all the pieces were aligned correctly. This step is crucial to avoid mistakes that could complicate assembly later.

Le hice una abertura en la parte de adelante. Corté la pieza del frente y a esta le haré una solapa para que quede doble. Esta solapa no solo añade un elemento visual interesante, sino que también refuerza la estructura de la prenda.También corté una tira para el cuello, lo que le dará un acabado más pulido y estilizado a la camisa. La tira del cuello es un detalle que a menudo se pasa por alto, pero que puede hacer una gran diferencia en el aspecto general de la prenda. Me aseguré de que la tira tuviera la longitud adecuada y que se ajustara perfectamente al diseño.

I made a slit in the front. I cut the front piece, and I'll add a lapel to it so it's double-breasted. This lapel not only adds an interesting visual element but also reinforces the structure of the garment. I also cut a collar strip, which will give the shirt a more polished and streamlined finish. The collar strip is an often overlooked detail, but it can make a big difference to the overall look of the garment. I made sure the strip was the right length and fit the design perfectly.

En este paso, uní la parte delantera con la trasera y le puse una costura decorativa en las sisas. Este detalle no solo embellece la prenda, sino que también refuerza las costuras, dándole un acabado más profesional. La costura decorativa añade un toque personal que resalta el esfuerzo que he puesto en el proyecto.Y así quedó la sisa con el sesgo. Me gusta cómo se ve; queda bonito, pero diferente. Este toque le da un carácter único a la camisa, resaltando la creatividad en el diseño. A veces, los pequeños detalles son los que marcan la diferencia en una prenda.

In this step, I joined the front to the back and added a decorative stitch to the armholes. This detail not only beautifies the garment but also reinforces the seams, giving it a more professional finish. The decorative stitching adds a personal touch that highlights the effort I put into the project. And this is how the armhole turned out with the bias binding. I like how it looks; it's pretty, but different. This touch gives the shirt a unique character, highlighting the creativity in the design. Sometimes, it's the small details that make all the difference in a garment.

Ya por último, corté una tira y la estiré para que sea el cordón del frente y que haga el diseño. Este cordón no solo es funcional, sino que también sirve como un elemento decorativo que realza el estilo de la camisa. Decidí que el cordón sería un contraste atractivo con el color rojo de la prenda, lo que añadirá un toque de modernidad.Con ayuda de un ganchillo, le abrí los huequitos para poder insertar el cordón. Este paso requiere paciencia y precisión, ya que los huequitos deben estar bien espaciados para que el cordón se inserte fácilmente.

Finally, I cut a strip and stretched it to form the front cord and create the design. This cord is not only functional but also serves as a decorative element that enhances the shirt's style.
