Welcome, everyone, to a new blog. So sit back and join me for this incredible story.
This week, my sewing work has gone super well, as I've had the opportunity to sew some alterations and even made several outfits for a commissioned order. It was for a very dear lady. After having some very tough days, it was time to see the light on a rainy and very cloudy day. I felt so relieved when I saw that this week I'd been super active, with a lot of work. And yes, I felt tired, but I couldn't afford to put off work and waste the opportunity life is giving me. I just had some expenses and I needed some gym shoes, which were already badly damaged; they urgently needed to be exchanged. So, saving up, I bought some things for the house, like groceries. I was surprised by something I didn't expect: food prices were somewhat expensive, and I only allowed myself to buy what was necessary and not the entire pantry. But I felt happy about this very productive week, and I hope the following weeks, days, or years will continue to go better for me.
I also did well with the fabric work I buy in bulk, as I've sold almost everything. I even went back to the castle and bought fabric in bulk again. I'm looking forward to going back to the castle and buying more fabric and some other sewing supplies I saw that I need. I also saw new sewing and craft supplies, and these are things I want to buy and innovate in my business.
The garments I made this week were three outfits for a woman who wanted new ones for a special occasion. She wanted three sets of shirts and palazzo pants. When I sewed them, I didn't take any photos of the construction due to time constraints. I started sewing on a Wednesday, and those outfits were for a Friday, so all three outfits had to be ready on Thursday. Although I don't have photos of the steps, I do have photos of how they turned out and how beautiful they were. She was happy with her new outfits.
Then, over the weekend, I received several alterations. Mostly for jeans and a few shirts that needed adjusting. For now, that was my week, but I'm sure more work and experiences will come. I hope I'll have a new anecdote to share with you soon. I'm excited to continue creating and learning along this sewing journey. So, for now, I'm signing off. See you later, and thank you for joining me on this adventure! I can't wait to tell you more about my upcoming projects and the stories to come. See you soon!
