Hello friends. Have a great day, everyone. It's great receiving work from my clients. One of them is this black dress, which is for a girl who plays in the orchestra here in the municipality. This will be a simple dress.

Paso nro 1
Paso nro 1
I started by cutting the front and back of the dress, marking only with a pencil. You might think the sleeves look odd, but the reason is because they're puffed sleeves and require pleating.

Paso nro 2
Paso nro 2
I started by closing the shoulders as I always do. Then I made the sleeve pleats, starting from the shoulder and working toward the armhole, then I sewed them with the sewing machine. I also sewed the sides of the sleeve up to the waist, which is where the bodice of the dress will fall.

Paso nro 3
Paso nro 3
For the skirt I'm going to use the entire width of the fabric by a length of 80cm. I sewed the fabric so that it's easier to locate where the pleats of the skirt will go. I always start from the center to the outside to make pleats so that they are centered and equal. There I first pin them and then sew them with the machine.

Paso nro 4
Paso nro 4
I cut the bias that will go on the neck, sewed it, and secured it. And I always leave the hems of both the sleeves and the skirt for last.

And so I ended up with this beautiful, simple dress, yet with details that really stand out. My client was very happy with her dress and even sent me a photo. What I liked most about this project was the fact that the client let me work the way I wanted. I suggested how to do it, and she let me have the freedom to do it. "She said, 'You know, just make it look pretty.'" I felt very grateful for the trust you have in me. Friends, I hope you like my work today. I send you all a big hug and good health to continue our work.
