Hello everyone your welcome to my blog today ❤️

Life has not been easy a lot of ups and downs have popped up in one way or the other and for the lower-class Nigerian citizen it’s not a funny ride thing are worst now compared to what they used to be when most of us where born.
At some point in life we look back at how life has been for us so far and the people who we have in our lives who in one way or the have turned out to be our heros. It could be our family members, friends or our spouse. That have created joy and happiness for us with our life span , and for me it has been my family ❤️
My mom will always tell us about her childhood and how she suffered with her parents how she struggled to go to school by her self-picking palm fruits from peoples farm just to be able to sell them to get palm kernel to sell in the market to get books and uniform for herself, and then after primary school she has to continue to fend for herself to get through secondary school and she started another line of business she started selling okirika (thrift wears) she sold mostly bedsheets and baby clothes to see her self through secondary school it was indeed a struggle.

Before the world war occurred that kind of turned things around and left everyone starting at square one, from her experience it is relatable to say that a lot of damages was been unleashed then at the mom said she vowed that (she must make it in life ) and a lot of people where really set back . Mom met her soul mate then and he was also trying to get his back on his feet, and she helped him, and they worked together to recover what the war stole from them, and he encouraged and supported her most of the time and they built something beautiful.
Looking down from my mom’s experience and her struggle to climb the ladder to the top I always say to myself that I must make it in this life I can never be a failure my mom inspires me everyday to keep pushing and believe that things will only get better. She would always remain a hero in my eyes.
And also my dad is one of my heroes he was indeed a great man and did a lot of exploits in the community and also for his people because he was the king of my home and that is some great work to do ,that demands a lot of attention to do.
Dad was a teacher for most of his life time till he was called by his people to come handle the affairs of the community, as traditional ruler he handled leadership so well that he was respected and adored by his people. My dad is a role model to me, my greatest hero, it's so unfortunate that we lost him to the old hands of death in 2017. My dad always gave me good advices that guides me through my school days ,he was my best friend and he always listened to me at all times that demanded his attention he would always remain the best father in the world to me.

My elder sister is now was also major source of inspiration to me ,she was a nurse and she was the one who encouraged me to do public health in school and she also took my health so much that when I get sick now and remember that she is not around it hurts me a lot.
She was the best big sister ,second mother and nurse I ever had in my life and I miss her so, my sister came through for me so many times when I was going emotional pains and also financial stress in school she always stood out and was always a shoulder to lean on. I would say all my family members were my heros in one way or the other.
All my thanks go out to the inkwell for the weekly prompt it brought back memories to me, and I encourage everyone to keep pushing and never give up we must all make it in our various lives.
