Hello, hello, people of the internet! How are you? I couldn't pass up the opportunity to tell you about a wonderful book that was part of many of our childhoods. A book that, over the years, has become a classic of British children's literature—or rather, literature in general. It has inspired movies and even a theme park in my city. I'm referring, of course, to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. >¡Hola Hola, gente de internet! ¿Cómo estás? yo no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de hablarles acerca de un libro maravilloso que formó parte de la infancia de muchos de nosotros, un libro que con el pasar de los años se volvió un clásico de la literatura británica infantil, o mejor dicho, de la literatura en general, ha inspirado películas y hasta un parque temático en mi ciudad, me refiero desde luego a Charlie y la Fábrica de Chocolates.
Charlie Bucket is a very poor boy whose parents can only give him a chocolate bar as a birthday present, however he is very happy and hopeful because just that year Mr. Wonka, from the Wonka Chocolate Factory, announced a wonderful contest, He had put some golden tickets inside the wrapper of some chocolates and whoever was able to find them would be the winner of the opportunity to visit the famous factory. After some failed attempts Charlie manages to find the ticket and joins the group of children who will visit that magical place, but once inside, he will not only learn how the most delicious sweets that have ever existed are made, but also valuable life lessons

It's interesting how the author (Roald Dahl) critiques several important issues throughout his work. On the one hand, we see the lack of respect shown by some children, which is nothing more than a product of parents' lack of boundaries in their upbringing, and how this impacts society. On the other hand, we see how this lack of discipline transforms into social vices such as television addiction, gluttony, greed, etc. These are behaviors that, if left uncorrected, carry over into adulthood.
Es interesante como el autor (Roald Dahl) hace una critica de varios asuntos importantes a través de su obra. Por una parte tenemos la falta de respeto de algunos niños y que no es más que el producto de la falta de límites por parte de los padres en la crianza, y la manera en que esto repercute en la sociedad, por otra parte vemos como esa falta de disciplina se transforma en vicios sociales como la adicción a la televisión, la gula, la codicia etc, y estas son conductas que si no se corrigen se arrastran hasta la adultez.
It is a story of many contrasts: gluttony and aversion to chocolate, wealth and excess versus poverty and scarcity, selfishness and nobility, but these contrasts are a reflection of real life itself: while some are selfish and capricious despite having everything, others are noble and willing to share even the little they have, so I think it is a beautiful book to promote values in children and teach them that good deeds are always rewarded.
Es una historia de muchos contrastes: la gula y la aversión al chocolate, la riqueza y los excesos Vrs la pobreza y la escases, el egoísmo y la nobleza, pero estos contrastes son un reflejo de la propia vida real: mientras algunos son egoístas y caprichosos a pesar de tenerlo todo, otros son nobles y están dispuestos a compartir incluso lo poco que tienen, así que yo creo que es un libro precioso para promover valores en los niños y enseñarles que las buenas acciones siempre son recompensadas.
The book uses explicit and simple language, so it's very easy for children to read, but just because you're an adult doesn't mean you won't enjoy it. On the contrary, in my case, it took me back to my childhood. The descriptions are so precise that I didn't find it difficult to visualize each character or scene in my mind.
El libro tiene un lenguaje explícito y sencillo, así que es muy fácil de leer para niños, pero no porque seas un adulto no lo vas a disfrutar, al contrario, en mi caso me trasladó a mi niñez, las descripciones son tan precisas que no me pareció difícil visualizar en mi mente cada personaje o escena.
I don't know what you personally think, but I think Willy Wonka's factory itself can be taken as a metaphor for the world. Why? Because if you analyze it more deeply, you'll realize that those who "move" the factory, that is, those who make it work, are the Oompa-Loompas (workers in general in the real world), but they are all commanded by Willy Wonka (the elite of the system), who takes them from their place of origin, where they had an already established system, to impose his own rules on them. In any case, Wonka was able to see beyond appearances, thus discovering the goodness that existed in humble Charlie.
Yo no sé lo que ustedes opinen particularmente pero yo creo que la propia fábrica de Willy Wonka se puede tomar como una metáfora del mundo ¿por qué? Por que si ustedes lo analizan con más profundidad se darán cuenta que quienes "mueven" la fábrica, osea quienes la hacen funcionar son los Oompa-Loompas (los obreros en general en el mundo real) pero todos ellos son comandados por Willy Wonka (la élite del sistema) quién los saca de su lugar de origen donde tenían un sistema ya establecido para imponerles sus propias normas. En cualquier caso Wonka fue capaz de ver más allá de las apariencias, descubriendo así la bondad que había en el humilde Charlie.
