Hello, hello, how are you? As some of you know, I am a pastry chef, so I am always thinking about coming up with new recipes or improving them. Imagine my excitement when I came across a new bakery shop. An alarm went off in my brain, inviting me to go in and take a look to see what interesting things they had there. It was perfect timing because I recently made the important decision to strike out on my own in the world of pastry making with my own business. It hasn't been easy since I'm just getting started, but I have lots of ideas in mind, determination, passion, confidence in my work, and especially a lot of faith in God, because I know He will bless my project. >Hola hola, ¿cómo están? Como algunos de ustedes saben, yo soy chef pastelera, así que siempre estoy pensando en idear nuevas recetas o mejorarlas, así que imaginen ustedes mi gran emoción cuando encontré en mi camino una nueva tienda de repostería, en mi cerebro se activó una alarma que me invitaba a entrar para echar un vistazo y comprobar que cosas interesantes tenían allí, y fue algo que me vino como anillo al dedo porque últimamente he tomado la importante decisión de abrirme paso por mi cuenta en el mundo de la pastelería mediante mi propio emprendimiento, no ha sido fácil ya que apenas estoy iniciando, pero tengo muchas ideas en mente, voluntad, pasión, seguridad en mi trabajo y en especial mucha fe en Dios, porque sé que bendecirá mi proyecto.
The shop is called Minimarket, but despite its name, it's quite large with lots of aisles. I like how each aisle is very well organised with everything related to materials or ingredients, making it easier to go straight to what you're looking for. They had everything there, so I was overjoyed, even ingredients that are not easy to find in the city. But best of all, the prices are very good compared to other places, and they also carry excellent quality brands.
La tienda se llama Minimarket, pero a pesar del nombre es bastante grande y con muchos pasillos, me gusta ver que tienen muy organizados cada pasillo con todo sobre materiales o ingredientes, así es más fácil ir directamente a lo que estás buscando. Ahí había de todo, así que yo estaba radiante de felicidad, incluso ingredientes que no son fáciles de conseguir en la ciudad, pero lo mejor de todo es que los precios son muy buenos en comparación con otros lugares, y además trabajan con marcas de excelente calidad.
One of the things I loved finding there was this silicone mat (which I couldn't find anywhere else, no matter how hard I looked) and this cookie sheet, because I really needed it. I had one a while ago but somehow lost it. I don't know if it was when my mum was doing a baking course or if I lost it myself in all the classes I took, but the fact is that I was grateful to find this one, which will be a very good start.
Una de las cosas que más adoré encontrar allí fue esta alfombrilla de silicón (la cual yo no pude encontrar antes por más que busqué en otros lados) también esta placa de galletas porque de verdad la necesitaba, yo tuve una hace tiempo pero de alguna manera la perdí, no sé si fue cuando mi mamá estaba haciendo un curso de repostería o si yo misma la perdí en tantas clases que hice, lo cierto del caso es que agradecí poder encontrar esta, lo cual será un muy buen comienzo.
I also got an excellent cupcake mould, although I don't just plan to bake cupcakes in it. I have other ideas in mind that might work, because these moulds are very versatile and can be used to bake countless recipes. It's just a matter of creativity.
También conseguí un excelente molde de cupcakes, aunque no solo pienso hornear cupcakes allí, tengo otras ideas en mente que quizá funcionen, y es que estos moldes son muy versátiles y sirven para hornear infinidad de recetas, solo es cuestión de cratividad.
But I was definitely very grateful to find this mould that I'm showing you because, for some reason, it's not easy to find, at least not here in Valencia (Venezuela). Although it's not exactly a brownie mould, it will be very useful because its height is just what I need and what I've been looking for.
Pero definitivamente agradecí mucho poder encontrar este molde que les estoy mostrando porque por alguna razón no es nada fácil conseguirlo, al menos no aquí en Valencia (Venezuela) aunque no es precisamente un molde de Brownie, me vendrá muy bien por la altura que tiene es justo lo que necesito y lo que ando buscando.
Finally, I went to pay for my purchase, feeling very satisfied and happy to have found that place. I believe that sometimes God puts ideas and opportunities in your path that you have to take advantage of to improve your life. I truly ask the Lord to bless not only my ideas and my venture, but also those of all the people who, like me, have decided to work for themselves. It is a constant learning process, but just like here at Hive, you have to be persistent and put all your love and effort into each creation.
Finalmente, muy satisfecha me fui a pagar la compra, me sentí muy feliz de haber encontrado ese lugar. Pienso que algunas veces Dios pone en tu camino ideas y oportunidades que tienes que aprovechar para mejorar tu vida. De verdad que le pido mucho al señor que no solo bendiga mis ideas y mi emprendimiento, sino el de todas aquellas personas que como yo, han tomado la decisión de trabajar por su cuenta. Es un proceso de aprendizaje constante, pero al igual que aquí en hive hay que ser perseverantes y poner todo el amor y empeño en cada creación.
And finally, I wanted to show you the results of my shopping trip, all the baking tins I bought. Obviously, over time I will need many more (God willing), but for now I think this is enough. I bought a baking tray, a silicone mat (which means you no longer need to grease or flour the tray to make biscuits), a cupcake tin and a brownie tin.
Y por último quería mostrarles a ustedes el resultado de mis compras, todos los moldes que adquirí, obviamente con el tiempo necesitaré muchos más (Dios mediante) pero por ahora creo que está bien así, compré una placa para galletas, el tapete de silicón (con el cuál ya no es necesario engrasar o enharinar la placa para elaborar las galletas) un molde para cupcakes y un molde para Brownies
