Hello, internet people, how's it going? Just yesterday I finished watching the first season of Stranger Things. Ever since the series came out, I'd been hearing great things about it, but I don't usually watch series when they're all the rage (except for The Walking Dead), so this week I finally decided to watch this series. >Hola, gente de internet ¿todo bien? Justo ayer terminé de ver la primera temporada de Strager Things. Ya desde que la serie había salido estaba oyendo muy buenos comentarios sobre ella, sin embargo, no suelo ver series en su momento de boga (salvo por The Walking Dead) asi que esta semana por fin me decidí ver esta serie
I have to say that the plot is quite good. Everything revolves around mystery and, as the name of the series suggests, ‘strange things’ that happen in a small American town. There are several main characters, but I think the main ones are our four children.
Tengo que decir que la trama es bastante buena, todo gira en torno al misterio y a, como el nombre de la serie indica, "cosas extrañas" que pasan en un pequeño pueblo estadounidense. Tenemos varios protagonistas, sin embargo creo que los principales son nuestros cuatro niños
One of them goes missing, and the three remaining friends become obsessed with finding him, suspecting that all is not lost, especially when Eleven, a strange girl with powers, joins them and helps them with their mission.
Uno de ellos se "pierde" y los tres amigos restantes se obsesionan con encontrarlo ya que sospechan que no todo esta perdido, más aun cuando "Once" una niña rara con poderes se une a ellos ayudandoles con su misión
The truth is that one of the things I liked most was the development of the plot, subplot and characters, and how in the end they all come together to achieve the same goal (catching the thing that is on the loose and has taken away people known to our characters). Nothing feels forced, everything progresses very naturally, so that's a plus.
La verdad es qu una de las cosas que más me gustó fue el desarrollo de trama, subtrama y personajesy coo al final todos se relacionan hasta llegar al mismo fin (atrapar a la cosa que anda suelta y que se ha llevado a personas conocidas de nuestros personajes) nada se ve forzado, todo avanza de manera muy natural asi que es un punto a favor
The setting is quite good; we literally feel like we are in the 1980s. The music, the scenery, the cars, etc. are all very well done.
La ambientación es bastante buena, literalmente nos sentimos en los años 80's la música, los escenarios, los carros, etc todo está muy bien cuidado
I thought this season's creature design was pretty cool, and the way it moves through time and space reminded me a lot of Silent Hill... SPOILER ALERT IN THIS PARAGRAPH... since the monster creates a kind of distorted, different and oppressive dimension from the place where it kidnaps you, and in that place, in the end, all the scenarios connect, but even the effect of ashes falling from the ground reminded me a lot of the other dimension of Silent Hill. They even call it ‘the other side’ in the series, as we usually call that dimension in the game.
El diseño de la criatura de esta temporadame pareció bastante cool, además que la forma en la que se mueve a través del tiempo y el espacio me hizo recordar mucho a Silent Hill... ALERTA DE SPOILER A CONTINUACION EN ESTE PARRAFO... ya que el monstruo hace una especie de dimensión distorcionada, diferente y opresiva del lugar donde te secuestra y en ese lugar al final todos los escenarios se conectan, pero incluso el efecto de cenizas cayendo del suelo, me hicieron recordar muchísimo de la otra dimensión de Silent Hill, inclusole llaman en la serie "el otro lado" como solemos llamar a esa dimensión en el juego
