A day at the beach with the family to end the vacations [ENG-ESP]

## ***Hello friends, welcome to my blog*** On this vacation we had not been able to leave the city to a place that screamed vacation, we had only done many errands and bought groceries and things we needed for home, but last week we decided to go to the beach for a day, we live in a coastal state of Venezuela and had a year without going, I do not know how it is so difficult for us to take a day and drive about two hours to get to the sea. >## ***Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog*** >En estás vacaciones no habíamos podido salir de la ciudad a un lugar que gritara vacaciones, solo habíamos hecho muchas diligencias y comprado víveres y cosas que necesitábamos para el hogar, pero la semana pasada decidimos irnos a la playa por un día, vivimos en un estado costero de Venezuela y teníamos un año sin ir, no sé cómo se nos hace tan difícil sacar un día y manejar aproximadamente dos horas para llegar al mar.   I don’t know if it happens the same to everyone but we sometimes have to plan a day at the beach very well, when I think it shouldn’t be like that, because we live very close, although on this vacation we have the excuse that it rained a lot and we didn’t want to miss a day of sun and that delayed the trip that we wanted to do since August started. On Friday we woke up and just said to ourselves, let’s go, we can’t wait any longer, September is coming and we haven’t gone to the beach, so we quickly packed our bags and left around 7:30 am, now I think it was late and I’ll tell you why. We had to fill up with gasoline because the comments are that in the coastal town fuel is scarce, so you have to be prepared. When we started to climb everything was fine but it was Trufito’s first trip to the beach so he got dizzy and vomited inside the truck so we had to stop to clean up, a situation that caused many cars to pass us and we had to wait in line the rest of the way up the mountain. >No sé si a todos les pasa igual pero nosotros a veces tenemos que planificar muy bien un día en la playa, cuando pienso que no debería ser así, pues vivimos muy cerca, aunque en estas vacaciones tenemos la excusa que ha llovido mucho y no queríamos perder un día de sol y eso nos retrasó el viaje que desde que comenzó agosto queríamos hacer. El viernes nos despertamos y solo nos dijimos, vámonos, no podemos esperar más, ya va llegar septiembre y no hemos ido a la playa, así que rápidamente arreglamos los bolsos y nos fuimos como a las 7:30 am, ahora pienso que era tarde ya les cuento porqué. >Tuvimos que cargar gasolina pues los comentarios es que en el pueblo costero es poco lo que llega el combustible, así que hay que irse preparado. Cuando empezamos a subir todo bien pero fue el primer viaje de Trufito a la playa así que mareó y vomitó dentro de la camioneta por lo que tuvimos que detenernos para limpiar, situación que hizo que nos pasaran muchos carros y agarráramos una cola el resto del camino por la montaña.   We arrived at about 10:30, which is not a bad time because the sun was warming up, and we started to enjoy the sand, the sea and the waves that were very high and if you were careless they would roll over you. I was afraid to leave my children alone in the sea because of the waves, so sometimes my husband went with them and sometimes I went and the other one stayed with Trufito in the sand. We also enjoyed a delicious ceviche with soda cookie which cost $10, which is also the cost of renting the umbrella and chairs. >Llegamos como a las 10 y media, que no es mala hora pues estaba calentando el sol, de una vez empezamos a disfrutar de la arena, el mar y las olas que estaban bien altas y si te descuidabas te revolcaban. Me daba miedo dejar a mis hijos solos en el mar por las olas, así que a veces iba mi esposo con ellos y en otras iba yo y el otro de quedaba con Trufito en la arena. También disgustamos un rico ceviche con galleta de soda el cual tiene un costo de 10$ lo que también cuesta el alquiler de la sombrilla y las sillas.     When it was two o’clock in the afternoon the sky began to get dark on the side of the mountain and the workers themselves commented that it was going to rain and that it was usually raining in the afternoon, that’s why I say that we left late, arriving earlier we would have more hours to enjoy the beach. Well, the thing is that we started to go up to stay a while in the river, because it is something we do every time we go, we take a dip in fresh water which takes away the fatigue generated by the salt water. We were in the river when the cars coming from the mountain and going towards the beach began to shout for us to get out because the river was rising, the first warning we did not take it very seriously but when it happened again we immediately got out and without changing our clothes we started to climb, so in the pictures of the mountain we are still with bathing suits and yes, less than five minutes later we began to see that the river was brown with mud and lots of water. Thanks to the people who warned us, we got out of the river quickly and there was no misfortune. >Cuando se hicieron las dos de la tarde se empezó a poner oscuro el cielo por el lado de la montaña y los mismos trabajadores comentaron que iba a llover y que generalmente estaba lloviendo en las tarde, por eso digo que nos fuimos tarde, al llegar más temprano tendríamos más horas para disfrutar de la playa. Bueno, el caso es que empezamos a subir para quedarnos un rato en el río, pues es algo que hacemos cada vez que vamos, nos damos un chapuson en agua dulce el cual nos quita el cansancio que genera el agua salada. Estábamos en el río cuando los carros que venían de la montaña e iban en dirección a la playa empezaron a gritar que nos saliéramos pues el rio venía crecido, la primera advertencia no la tomamos muy enserio pero cuando volvió a pasar inmediatamente nos salimos y sin cambiarnos de ropa empezamos a subir, por eso en las fotos de la montaña estamos con traje de baño aún y si, a menos de cinco minutos ya empezamos a ver qué el río iba marrón del barro y con mucha agua. Gracias a las personas que nos avisaron salimos rápido y no ocurrió una desgracia.    Although we did not enjoy as many hours on the beach and in the river as we would have liked, we had a great time and had a lot of fun. We played in the sand and took Trufito for the first time to the beach where he played and ran with Andrea. We spent most of the time in the sea jumping the waves and enjoyed ourselves which is the most important thing. Now we have to make it a point not to let so much time go by without going back. >Aunque no disfrutamos tantas horas en la playa y en el rio como hubiéramos querido la pasamos muy bien y nos divertimos bastante. Jugamos en la arena y llevamos a Trufito por primera vez a la playa donde jugó y corrió con Andrea. Pasamos la mayor parte del tiempo dentro del mar saltando las olas y disfrutamos de nosotros que es lo más importante. Ahora tenemos que proponernos no dejar pasar tanto tiempo sin volver.
