I have read several negative reviews of this series for following the life of characters that were part of the culture more than twenty years ago and that represented liberal women with experiences of any single woman where they were shown without any taboo and that now do not have the same essence of the first seasons because before they were ahead in terms of women’s liberation and empowerment of our sexuality while now or at least in the first season the word old was pronounced much while they were discovering everything that had changed in society, making them look like dinosaurs that little by little were adapting.

He leído varias críticas negativas de esta serie por seguir la vida de unos personajes que fueron parte de la cultura hace más de veinte años y que representaban a mujeres liberales con experiencias de cualquier mujer soltera donde se mostraban sin ningún tabú y que ahora no tienen la misma esencia de las primeras temporadas porque antes ellas si estaban adelantadas en cuanto a la liberación femenina y el empoderamiento de nuestra sexualidad mientras que ahora o al menos en la primera temporada se pronunciaba mucho la palabra vieja mientras que ellas iban descubriendo todo lo había cambiando en la sociedad, haciéndolas quedar como unos dinosaurios que poco a poco se fueron adaptando.

This series in its first season tried to include a lot of that, characters and situations that bothered many people who gradually moved away and those who stayed to see the following seasons could enjoy an end for me worthy for now, although HBO confirmed that there is no fourth season, I say those who stayed because I know of many people who after seeing the first season or some chapters did not want to continue watching it (I know).
The fact is that we arrived at the third season without any change in terms of inclusion, since we did not see Che anymore and Rose, Charlotte’s youngest daughter, we accepted her as an elle. Here we rather talk about much more contemporary issues for the age of the protagonists such as their relationships with their partners, children and work. When we finished the second season Carrie was betting everything on a relationship with Aidan, I don’t know how something that ended so badly the first time could work, how to think that the past and mistrust had been overcome. I understand Carrie a little bit about having hope that this time it was going to work out, thinking that if he came back into her life it’s for a reason and we just had to be patient because fate is telling me that now it is.

> La primera temporada me pareció un poco forzada, su antecesora era una serie que hablaba de sexo mayormente entre hombres y mujeres, pero que con el pasar de los años nos hemos vuelto mas liberales y han salido a luz un montón de géneros y no géneros de los que no me atrevería a nombrar ni hablar porque no tengo el conocimiento y cada día hay algo nuevo. Está serie en su primera temporada trato de incluir mucho de eso, personajes y situaciones que molestaron a muchas personas que poco a poco se alejaron y los que nos quedamos para ver las siguientes temporadas pudimos disfrutar de un final para mí digno por ahora, aunque HBO confirmo que no hay una cuarta temporada, digo los que nos quedamos porque se de muchas personas que luego de ver la primera temporada o algunos capítulos no quisieron seguir viéndola (conozco).
El caso es que llegamos a la tercera temporada sin ningún cambio en cuanto a la inclusión pues a Che no la vimos más y Rose, la hija menor de Charlotte, la aceptamos como elle. Aquí más bien hablamos de temas mucho más contemporáneos para la edad de las protagonistas como sus relaciones de parejas, hijos y trabajo. Cuando terminamos la segunda temporada Carrie estaba apostando todo a una relación con Aidan, no sé cómo podría funcionar algo que la primera vez terminó tan mal, cómo pensar que se había superado el pasado y la desconfianza. Entiendo un poco a Carrie en cuanto a tener la esperanza de que está vez iba a funcionar, pensar que si volvió a su vida es por algo y solo había que tener paciencia porque el destino me está diciendo que ahora si.
In this season the friends stopped mentioning that they were old and I liked that, because a woman over 50 is not old and no longer has the right to live, she just lives differently than a woman of 30 because maturity and experience has taught her a lot. There were several topics that according to the above were touched and that seemed to me right as it was talking about cancer that is something that can happen, it is also true that it has no age but with the years one is more prone to suffer from tumors, another topic was the loyalty and marital stability despite there are conflicts and temptations, when there is love and commitment not always an insinuation will end in infidelity (although I thought it was going to happen 🤭).
Miranda was the person who had more changes during the three seasons, since she came out of the closet in the first season and life was turned upside down to reorganize her life and find a person who apparently is the right one.

> En esta temporada las amigas dejaron de mencionar que estaban viejas y eso me gustó, pues una mujer de más de 50 tampoco es que este vieja y ya no tenga derecho a vivir, solo que vive diferente a una de mujer de 30 pues la madurez y la experiencia le ha enseñado mucho. Fueron varios temas que de acuerdo a lo anterior se tocaron y que me parecieron acertados como fue hablar del cáncer que es algo que puede pasar, también es cierto que no tiene edad pero con los años se es más propenso a sufrir de tumores, otro tema fue el de la lealtad y estabilidad matrimonial a pesar de existir conflictos y tentaciones, cuando hay amor y compromiso no siempre una insinuación va a terminar en infidelidad (aunque yo pensé que si iba a pasar 🤭).
Miranda fue la persona que más cambios tuvo durante las tres temporadas, desde que salió del closet en la primera temporada y la vida se le puso patas arriba hasta reorganizar su vida y encontrar una persona que al parecer es la indicada.
This was a nice season that what it did was to leave each of these women alone with themselves and their families, being happy with their individual lives but knowing that they will count on each other when they need each other because they are there in the most important moments.
I felt less uncomfortable than in the first season, as here we just follow their normal lives with their normal family and work problems, the only new and current gender issue was the relationship of Charlotte’s oldest daughter with a dancer who also had a boyfriend of the same sex and she didn’t know how to win over the other couple, the strangest thing was to see the parents watching the situation from the outside without judging, very modern.
The rest was the same, Miranda looking for a girlfriend, Charlotte with Harry who is a very understanding husband but I love the relationship of these two, I think it is ideal, Anthony and his relationship with Giuseppe a young man about 20 years younger, Seema in a relationship with a guy with whom she doesn’t like and Lisa is crazy with work and family. What is true is that in this series no one lacks money, the one who has the least is Miranda.
Maybe I don’t agree with Carrie’s statement about the decision she made at the end, because as I said, she is not 80 years old either, but I think that for the moment it’s good to enjoy it, maybe later she will find the person who will give her everything she expects, although let’s remember that women become more demanding as we get older, that’s a fact.

> Está fue una temporada agradable que lo que hizo fue dejar en paz a cada una de estas mujeres con ellas mismas y sus familias, siendo felices cada una con su vida individual pero sabiendo que van a contar entre ellas cuando se necesiten pues están ahí en los momentos más importantes.
Me sentí menos incomoda que en la primera temporada, pues aquí solo seguimos sus vidas normales con sus problemas normales de familia y trabajo, el único tema nuevo y actual en cuanto al género fue la relación de la hija mayor de Charlotte con un bailarín que también tenía un novio de su mismo sexo y ella no sabía como ganarle a la otra pareja, lo más extraño fue ver a los padres viendo la situación desde afuera sin juzgar, muy modernos. El resto fue lo mismo, Miranda buscando novia, Charlotte con Harry que es un marido muy comprensivo pero a mí me encanta la relación de estos dos, me parece ideal, Anthony y su relación con Giuseppe un joven como de 20 años menos, Seema en una relación con un tipo con el que no pega ni con pega loca y Lisa vuelta loca con el trabajo y la familia. Lo que si es que en esta serie a nadie le hace falta dinero, la que menos tiene es Miranda.
Tal vez no estoy de acuerdo con la afirmación de Carrie sobre la decisión que tomo al final, porque como digo tampoco es que tiene 80 años, pero creo que por el momento está bien disfrutar de ella, quizás más adelante encuentra a la persona que le va a dar todo lo que ella espera aunque recordemos que las mujeres con los años nos volvemos más exigentes, eso es un hecho.
