Splinterlands Battle Insights: Using Attack Power to Secure Victory

@bhattg · 2025-10-02 18:01 · Splinterlands

Hello Sprinter Lens players, how are you? I hope your season is going well. There are still a few days left until the season ends. I'm purchasing a few cards tomorrow, some for Wild and some for Modern. There are about 12 days left until the season ends. So, I've been playing all three modes, Modern, Wild, and Frontier. It's been a few days now, but I'm not getting particularly good results. However, I'm still trying to collect as many rewards as possible. By the end of the season, I'll invest whatever rewards I get and buy cards again, which will improve my battle performance. While you battle, you often win, and sometimes you lose; some victories are so exciting and rewarding that you feel like sharing them with others. So, today, through this post, I'm going to share one of my battles with you all. In it, I'll tell you what things to keep in mind with which party, which will make winning a little easier.

As you can see, I could use all elements in battle except the Death element, and the mana cap was 43. You can also see that there's an Equaliser ability. If you play the game, you're likely familiar with this ability. I've explained it in detail below, but let me tell you that whenever your match starts, everyone's health equals the highest health card on your opponent's team and yours.

Rulesets :

  • Equalizer -:

The initial health of all units is equal to that of the unit on either team with the highest base health. * Buffs and debuffs are done afterwards - this impacts base health.

The mana cap was still high, but I used some cards that were low in mana because their abilities were quite good, or should I say, their attacking power was quite good, which is why I didn't waste them, and they performed quite well in the game, and I won against them.

Whenever a battle with the equalizer rule set comes, you should try to use cards with high attack power, because your health will automatically increase. You just have to keep in mind that the attacking power of your cards should be good. If it is good, then your victory is automatically assured. As you can see, my Opportunity's maximum attacking power was almost the same. My opponent was using mostly Magic cards. However, as soon as the battle began, my opponent's Magic power increased to one because they were using a summoner that gives all their cards plus one Magic attack.

But the power (magic) I had on some cards was four, which is quite good. My card speed was also quite good compared to my opponent's, which helped me a lot in battle. Speed plays a huge role in any battle. If you have a higher speed, then your attacks are also read before your opponent's. Sometimes, when your opponent attacks you, the one with the lower speed and yours is higher, it has a significant impact on the battle.

If you watch this battle in its entirety, you'll see that the opponent's Magic cards inflicted significant damage, and some of my cards also inflicted significant damage, especially in Ready. My opponent's Magic cards were quite powerful, and their health was about the same, making the battle quite enjoyable. If I hadn't used some special cards, my defeat would have been certain. The Opponent leader used some very good cards, and his summoner was also quite good. This made the battle quite enjoyable and lasted a bit longer.

That's all for today. I hope I learned something new from you today. I'll see you in another post tomorrow. Until then, keep playing.
