Hola chiquitos, como estais?
Lots of warm greetings to everyone from a sunny Serbia! Why Spanish, you might ask? Well, I just love their friendly expressions. They sound so cheerful and full of life that it is quite impossible not to get a smile on your face when you hear them, a wide one. 😁
I'm not going to bother you today with my usual random silly thoughts. Just a little story from today's photo walk, and a few questions for you; let's pretend I'm a reporter for a moment. It simply came to me, you know, that "what's on my mind must go out" feeling (which means that a first sentence of this paragraph is totally wrong, right? xD )
Once again, I was taking some photos around the yard, nothing fancy, just me playing again with the camera and still testing my new phone. Guess what I realized? My older photos, even the raw ones from that Xiaomi Redmi 9 ❤️, actually weren't that bad at all! Real problem seems to be my laptop screen (always some issues xD), it makes everything look so pale and colors washed out. Can you believe that? It's funny how technology can trick our eyes sometimes, even though we are watching the same thing.
When I uploaded these photos to my laptop today to prepare them for this blog, I once again saw how they look kind of dull and lifeless. But on my new phone? Perfect! Bright, vivid and full of colors. So now I'm so much curious, what do you use for blogging? And are you also noticing this big difference between devices when it comes to how your photos look?
I started talking too much again, I know, blah blah truć truć, but this is something that is really on my mind lately when it comes to photography. If I only judged my photos (and my Hive profile) by what I see when I am spending time on my laptop, I would probably say "Meh, nothing special". But when I look at them on my phone: Wow, it's at least a 50 percent better! (I'm trying my best to stay humble here, believe me xD )
What is been in your focus these days, guys? What are you into and what's catching your attention lately? For me, it is simple, nature as always! Simple everyday things we all have around us: the sky, the trees, the birds... nothing too exotic. Still, I have to admit, I'd love to spend a day surrounded by those beautiful, colorful birds from all over the world I can see often see in this community. I am imaginin' taking portraits of them, like some National Geographic photographer, hihi! Well, that's still a bit (okay, a loooot 😅) far away for me. For now, I am perfectly fine with watching a few documentaries and enjoying the beauty I already have right outside my window.
