Hello friends, photographers, artists and everyone who just likes to take nice photos! How you doing these days? What's new in your corners of the world? 🌍 I'm more and more falling in love with my new phone camera. You know that moment when your hand finally starts to understand how to hold it, when your fingers almost move by themselves and you just know when is the right time to do "click"? That's what's happening now. It's like we became friends after a few days of awkward silence from both sides. xD I'm learning how far to move, how close to get, how to focus without messing everything. And honestly I feel like I'm using a phone camera for the first time in my life, which sounds funny, but that's how it is.
Anyway, I will share with you some random things my eyes caught in the last few days, bits of nature, flowers, one of our cats, hard-working bees, a duck among all those chickens (yes and she looked very proud about it, just like she'a a queen of their castle), clouds that seemed like they were dancing, little spiderwebs skillfully tied between heart-shaped blossoms on a bush near our place. A blue flower here, a white one there, all that under this surprising November sun, in the middle of Serbia, on the Balkans, where there used to be snow at this time for decades. Funny, right? How much the climate is changing. Do you also feel that where you live?

Today's story is a bit different, well, it changed just an hour or two ago. This morning it was warm again, almost like early summer, but then the wind decided to show up and it came from everywhere. It blew down tons of yellow leaves that were holding so tight to the branches, like they were afraid to let go, but they couldn't resist. Now it's chilly again, like the weather couldn't decide who it wants to be. A little bit of this 'n' a little bit of that, just like when I am choosing an ice cream scoops, hihi. A mix of everything! Such a clash of opposites in just one November day.

((I have to add here that I'm amazed how clearly and sharply it catches every little detail, line, even the smallest hair. I've never managed to take such a good photo of a tiny insect before and for it to come out this nice. I'm really impressed with this camera. Would you agree with me?))
Yesterday we had one of those random mini-adventures that make you smile later. We went driving around the nearby village roads, my fiancé's sister was practicing driving (she has a license, but she hasn't driven in years), so it was both funny and a little bit stressful, if I'm honest. After that, we went fishing with some friends at our pond. It wasn't serious fishing like in a season, more like relaxing and pretending we are fishermen. We caught a few small ones, nothing big and of course, we put them back in the water. I think that's the end of the fishing season for this year, until spring comes again.
Sometimes I think taking photos is a kind of therapy. You don't need to be a professional or even good at it. You just need to see something and feel like it's worth remembering. Like that moment when the wind blows your hair in the wrong direction, but the light hits your face perfectly, it's not perfect, but i’s real. That's what I like the most. I am not a professional, but I have curiosity. And that's probably enough for now.

Oh, and one more funny thing I just remembered to mention > every time I say I'm going out just for a quick walk, I somehow return two hours later with my camera roll full. I don't even notice when time flies. There's always something, a shadow that looks like a bird, a puddle that reflects the sky or just a friendly bee on a dandelion.
So, as always 😁, I wanted this blog to be, not something big or professional, but a small space for these tiny, quiet stories that life tells us when we want to listen.
I think it is a perfect moment to go outside with you camera, take a look around and try to catch something that makes you smile. It doesn't have to be perfect. Maybe it's even better if it's not. And if it's cold where you are, make some tea before you go. 🥰 Here, the wind is usually strong, but I kind of like it. It makes everything move and change, like it's cleaning the air for a new beginning.
I'll just stop here before I start another story about clouds or cats or who knows what else. See you in another blog.
