Since we're so far away from home and we don't know many people we don't really have anyone to buy presents for. We decided instead to spoil the dogs we have met down the park and that we have been house-sitting for.
Sassy always gets spoilt but we thought the rest of them deserve to be spoilt as well, they even got a special Christmas dinner!
Christmas morning we got up and got all their presents and treats together and made them all sit for a picture. Taffy and Keelie that we are looking after don't have a lot of toys and mostly seem to enjoy chasing balls(Keelie anyway). We bought 3 good toys, one for each of them and then a little Christmas toy pack for them to share and most likely ruin. We picked a toy for them each but figured they would choose their own favourite.
Sassy is a spoilt little shit and thinks every toy is hers so naturally she just wanted whatever the other dogs got. Keelie was given a big green bug with rope legs but decided she liked the squeaky octopus ball more. Taffy wasn't interested in any of the toys and enjoyed himself some dried rabbit ears instead.
The dogs at the park are all very different and we had no idea what they would like so we bought a large selection of toys and balls and just let them all pick one they like. It was quite funny when the largest dog there ended up with the smallest little rubber bone, but she picked it and she loved it.

Aside from the toys we took them down the beach for a run and a play which they love. Keelie and Sassy both love to swim and chase a ball into the ocean and Taffy just likes to get his feet wet and wander alongside you or roll in the sand.
After a big morning of playing and treats we cooked them up a delicious Christmas dinner each consisting of roast chicken, ham, potatoes, carrots, and pumpkin. We headed out to our friends house but came back around 6pm to give them their dinner and they scoffed it down. Taffy didn't eat much of the vegetables so we got him some extra meat and biscuits but Sassy and Keeley loved it.

Sassy, like I said is a spoilt little shit so she got to join us at our friends house. I don't think she stopped running and playing all night. The dogs at the house we went to have a large basket of toys to play with and Sassy took every single one out to play with and left them all over the house. She also got more presents off our friends and by the end of the night she was absolutely exhausted. Even the next day she hardly moved and just slept all day. Probably her best day every.
