A beautiful Monday to you all in this community, i hope you all had a great and lovely weekend, this is the beginning of another great week and i believe you started it on a good note with greater achievement ahead. It is a great pleasure for my to bring to you today the making of a super easy makeup pouch especially for ladies, coming into this community today @needleworkmonday, i have seen lovely and beautiful creativity which i have gain one or two things from and I'm here to share mine as well with your hoping that this can be useful for someone out there for safe keeping of your simple makeup items.
This is made with pieces of fabric with zipper, it can be used with or without handle just as seen below
Let me show you the simple step by step process to achieve this
From my pieces of fabric, i measured and cut out 13 x 9"
It was folded in four and i measured 1.5 x 1.5 from the base and inward before it was connected to the top with a curve just as seen in the picture below
I cut out the lines i measured and it was opened as i ironed interfacing on the main fabric and the main fabric was placed on a lining and sewn together after which the lining was trimmed off.
It was set aside as i proceeded to the making of the zipper, i measured and cut out 2 pieces of 1.5 x 10" with interfacing ironed on the main fabric and lining to turn the zipper
The 2 pieces were sewn on both sides of the zipper with lining nd it was top stitched on the right side
The zipper was placed on the center of the main fabric and it was sewn together right side to right side with a small loop i made which was sewn together for the handle
Both sides were top stitched on the right side and it was sewn round on both with the zipper opened to the middle
Finally, it was turned to the right side and this is the final and beautiful outcome
I have some of my simple makeup items in it just to show you how beautiful and stylish the outcome is
I had tjis handle from another bag and it was fix to both sides of the loop and its looking nice as well
