Hello everyone

Happy weekend and a beautiful Saturday to you all, I hope you are doing great and having nice time where you are, it's weekend and most of us are at home taking a break from work after working for the week and to some who are on duty today, I wish you a beautiful day. Today, I will be sharing with you one of it's kind project I recently made from pieces of left over fabrics, I made this and I thought I should share as it might be useful for someone out there and as we always do, we bring our creativity here @needleworkmonday for others to learn and be inspired.

Sometimes, we ladies need something like this in our bag but how do we go about with our sanitary pads when needed, do you put it in a nylon, your purse or you just put it in there for others to see, well dont worry, I'm here to share this sanitary pads pouch for you for the safe keeping of your pads and pain killer tablets. The good thing is that, it has a pressing button to make it look nice and also keep it safe form others to see.

This can be kept in you bag and no one would know what you have in there as we always want to keep it safe from other people.

Join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process
I measured and cut out 2 pieces of fabric from different fabric measuring 18 x 5.5" each

Both were placed together right side to right side and it was sewn together leaving a small opening by the side where it can be turned inside out

It was turned inside out to the right side through the opening by the side

On the flower fabric, i measured 2.5" from the top at the middle downward and i used my hand needle and thread to fix a pressing button on it, the same was done on the other side as well where a fix the opposite button

I measured 4" from the top and it was folded in, the same was repeated on the other side as both sides were folded in

I top stitched on both sides from one end to the other while the opening was also folded in and top stitch on

This is the final and beautiful outcome, then I have some sanitary pads and pain killer tablets neatly kept in each side of the pouch

Finally, it was folded and secure with the pressing button before it was kept in my bag.

I hope you like how simple, useful and beautiful this is.
