It's a beautiful day out here and I'm glad to share with you another creative design from my sewing room as i will be sharing with you the step by step process on how i made a baby feeding bottle holder for my friend's baby using fabrics.
This is another dare project i made for my friend, i so much get people who commend my creativity and sometimes ask jokingly if there's something i can't make with fabrics this is one thing that push me to do more even than what is expected of me.
One of my friend's baby uses this small bottle for feeding and sometimes, she goes out with it, then she thought of having a small bag for it so as to keep it safe before putting it in her bag and she dared it that only if i can make such as described by her, i smiled within me that it's just a simple project and i promised to get it done, to her, it's really a big deal not knowing that with just few step ny step process, it will be done.
Let me show you how this was made with simple process
From my main fabric, i measured and cut out 17 x 6.5" with lining and interfacing ironed on the main fabric
I placed a zipper of 7.5" on the tip of the main fabric with the lining on the zipper and it was sewn together on both sides and top stitched on the right side as well
I turned the fabric to the wrong side and i measured 2" away from the zipper, it was folded and sewn together on both sides
On the four corners of the fabric, i measured a square of 1" on it and it was cut out
For the handle, i measured and cut out 4 x 7" of the main fabric, it was folded and sewn together on both sides
The excess zipper were trimmed off and i sew on the coners together with the handle placed on the top before it was sewn together
Finally, it was turned to the right side through the zipper opening and this is the final and beautiful outcome.
I know my friend will be so surprised to have me made this, but I'm glad i was able to make this with a beautiful outcome.
With this, my friend can have her baby feeding bottle in it before being kept in her bag. I hope you like the beautiful outcome as you can use it for other purposes as you desired.
