Hello everyone

Greetings to you all my creative friends, lovers of diy, members of this great community and hive at large, i hope you are all doing good on this beautiful day, wishing you all a great and productive day in all you do wherever you are.

I'm glad to be a seamstress who can make different items you can think of with fabric as long as it is possible to achieve, this is one of my recent creative design of a bigger pouch made for my mother in-law for her business and it it my pleasure to share the process with you all in this great community.

My mother in-law is a business woman who buy things in bulk and resell to others, she goes to to the market to buy her items in different places and as an old woman, she usually goes with cash as she can't make transaction on her phone, you can understand our old woman can be, for this reason, she needed a bigger pouch to keep those cash to replace the old one she has which was smaller. Since fabric is what i know how to use, i decided to make her this for her cash.

Let me show you the simple process to achieve it

I measured and cut out 11 x 22" of fabric to be the main fabric i will be working on

It was folded in two and i measured 2 x 2" on both sides and at the top, i measured 1" inward at the left and right, those lines were connected together and it was cut out

I placed it on a lining to cut out same shape and interfacing was ironed on the main fabric

I took my zipper and placed it on the main fabric before i placed the lining on it and it was sewn together on both sides

It was turned to the wrong side with lining to lining and fabric to make, i sew on both sides together leaving an opening where it can be turned inside out

The corner of the main fabric and lining were also sewn together

It was then turned inside out through the opening on the lining before the opening was sewn together and turned inside the main fabric

That was all and this is the final and beautiful outcome

My mother in-law was so happy to have this bigger pouch for her business, it can contain more cash than the smaller one she had before it was replaced with this.

Thanks so much for your time, support, comment and encouragement. Until my next post, do have a great and lovely day.
