Its a beautiful day out here and a lovely Friday, i hope you are all doing great, it's another day for me to share with you all in this great community @diyhub one of the simplest and useful creativity i recently made, i know most of us will love this as it is very useful especially for ladies who goes out with little makeup items in their hand bag.
This pouch has no zipper but a button and a loop to hold and secure the items in it before been kept in the bag or somewhere safe, this is done and achieved with some fabric scraps that were meant to be discard or trash out but as doing what i know how to do best, using fabric scraps to create something nice and useful, i thought to share with you all and i know you will like the beautiful outcome.
Let's get started with the cutting and sewing process
6 x 9.5" was measured and cut out from 2 different pieces of fabric and 2 pieces of lining as well
The lining were placed together right side to right side and was sewn together
Each of the main fabric was placed on each ends of the lining right side to right side and was sewn together on both sides
From one end to the other, i placed the main fabric together and i sew on it round, leaving a small opening on the lining where it can be turned inside out
I made a small loop on the main fabric to secure the pouch and it was turned inside out through the opening on the lining, after which it was top stitched on and the lining was tuck in the main fabric as i also top stitched round the top.
It was folded to locate where the button would be fix and it was fixed at the appropriate place with my hand needle and thread
This is the final and beautiful outcome of this pouch with some simple make up items in it
I hope you like the simplicity and useful pouch made from pieces of scrap with a button and loop to secure the items in it.
