Hello everyone

Happy new month, new week and a beautiful Monday to you all, I hope you are all doing great, it is another week for us to share our creativity and skills in this community @needleworkmonday I love to be here as I get to share my creativity and learn from others as well, I'm sure you are all prepared to share with us your project this week. Today, I will be sharing one of our choir anniversary outfit I made with Ankara fabric and the successful completion of all the outfit.

Yesterday being the first Sunday of the month was a glorious day as we celebrate our choir anniversary in church and for this celebration, we decided to where an African print fabric which we all concluded to make a skirt and blouse outfit with the fabric, as a seamstress amongst them all, I was given the fabric to make for everyone. I started the cutting and sewing earlier enough to make me meet up with the delivery date for everyone as promised, each fabric was used to sew as desired by individual, first I made a 6pieces skirt and 369° flare for someone because she's a plus size while others are straight skirt and double flare 720° flare.

To make each of the straight skirt, I used the skirt measurement to cut out the front measuring from the waistline to the full length after cutting out the front, it was placed on another folded fabric to cut the back with zipper allowance and inverted pleat at the back.

I cut out lining to turn it for neat finishing and it was sewn together with the side seam allowance on both sides and at the back

I proceeded to draft out the upper bodice of a princess dart bustier with the upper bodice measurement then it was transferred to the main fabric and it was cut out with lining of same pattern, it was sewn together and I proceeded to cut out the back bodice

For the back bodice, I cut out a basic back bodice with the upper bodice measurement and zipper allowance at the back then it was sewn together with lining for neat finishing.

I cut out a basic short sleeves and it was sewn to the armhole circumference with the front and back sewn together

Double flare of 720° was cut out with interfacing and lining to turn it inside out for neat finishing, the flare were sewn together with the small flare on the big flare

The flare was sewn to the waistline of the upper bodice with zipper at the zipper allowance at the back and this is the beautiful outcome

We all wore our outfit on the first Sunday of the month for our choir anniversary to the glory of God.

I hope you like the beautiful outcome, I'm so glad I was able to meet up with the delivery date and a beautiful outcome, they all love their outfit with joy.
