A tangent: When I was a little boy we had a pet crow
He was a great pet! Smart, inquisitive, friendly, and funny.
But he made a mess on my Momma's porch
She wanted him gone. So we took him off a mile or so in the car. But he came back. I loved that crow!
Next day we took him far away
He did not come back. I missed him terribly.
Pet squirrels are also fun and easy to raise
But they will take over your home. Once you connect with them as a pet/friend it becomes very difficult to think of them as food. Unless you are starving.
Animals have personalities
maybe even rocks do.
