Welcome to a new adventure!! Today's post is titled "The Tour Guide." I'm going to show you a city called Almada and its main tourist attractions. I recommend watching my other two previous chapters to follow my theme and, of course, the videos. My adventures never come empty-handed and, on the contrary, they are accompanied by tips and advice to make the most of your visit to my warm country. Bienvenidos a una nueva aventura!! el post para hoy tiene como titulo "el guia del tour" voy a mostrarte una ciudad llamada Almada y sus principales atractivos turisticos, te recomiendo ver mis otros dos capitulos anteriores para acompanar mi tematica y por supuestos los videos. Almada belongs to the district of Setubal and even reaches the region of Lisbon, it is the furthest outskirts of the center (Belem), it is a city that is not very touristy because little is known about it and also because of a lack of advertising, in my opinion it is very complete and the prices are interesting compared to the central area. Almada pertenece al distrito de Setubal y aun alcanza la region de Lisboa es lo mas hacia las afueras del centro (Belem), es un ciudad que no es muy turistiada por que se sabe poco de ella y tambien por falta de publicidad, a mi parecer es muy completa y los precios son interesantes en comparacion con el casco central te dejo las coordenadas y el lugar en el mapa.🗺️🌍
You'll never be able to say "I won't stay there because there's no public transport" about Almada. I think it's the city with the best public transport system on the southern shore of Lisbon. The only thing it lacks is an underground metro, but it makes up for it with the ferry that crosses the Tagus River. I'll give you the places where you can go and explore the different transport systems, but here's a tip: for 40 euros, you pay for something called a "pass." This pass gives you access to ALL TRANSPORT IN LISBON AND THE SOUTH BANK FREE... and it includes some boats.🚙🧭🌄
De Almada no podras nunca decir: "no me quedare alli porque no hay transporte", creo que es la ciudad con mejor sistema de transporte del margen sur de Lisboa, lo unico que no tiene es metro subterraneo, pero se compensa con el barco que atraviesa el rio tejo. Te dejo los site donde tu puedes entrar y explorar los diferentes sistema de transporte, pero te doy un tip: con 40euros pagas algo llamado "pase" ese pase te da acceso a TODOS LOS TRANSPORTES DE LISBOA Y MARGEN SUR SIN PAGAR NADA... Anywhere in Lisbon we can see a giant figure on a small hill, that figure is very similar to the "Christ the Redeemer" of Brazil, and well Portugal has its own "Christ" monument, only ours is called "Cristo Rei", it rises to more than 203 meters high at the highest point of Almada and of course it is one of the largest buildings in Portugal "since it transports people by elevator", now let's visit it and see how interesting it is...🗺️👨🏻🏫🧭🚙🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍
en cualquier parte de Lisboa podemos observar una figura gigante en una pequena colina, esa figura es muy parecida al "cristo redentor de Brasil", y bueno Portugal tiene su propio monumento "cristo", solo que el nuestro se llama "Cristo rei", se eleva a mas de 203 metros de altura en el punto mas Alto de Almada y por supuesto es uno de los edificios mas grandes de Portugal "ya que transporta personas por un elevador", ahora vamos a visitarlo y ver que tan interesante es...⛵🚩
For 8 euros you can access the monument, take the elevator and reach the viewing point which is the highest point, in total you climb 202 meters high, from the base of Christ to the viewing point, the views from here are spectacular, I don't want to pay that much because the views down below are not much different so if you want to save you can do what I did! HOWEVER IT CAN BE A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE IN YOUR LIFE 7-8 EUROS DOESN'T MAKE ANYONE POOR.👨🏻🏫🧭
Por 8 euros puedes acceder al monumento, tomar el elevador y llegar al mirador que es el punto mas alto, en total subes 202 metros de altura, desde la base del cristo hasta el mirador, la vistas aqui son espectaculares, yo no quiero pagar eso porque las vistas abajo no tienen mucha diferencia asi que si quieres ahorrar puedes hacer lo que yo hice! SIN EMBARGO PUEDE SER UNA EXPERIENCIA UNICA EN TU VIDA 7-8 EUROS NO EMPOBRECEN A NADIE📸🌅.

Many might think that Christ was built to imitate the one in Brazil, but the story goes far beyond a simple copy! It turns out that what led to the construction of this beautiful monument was a tribute from the Portuguese people to Christ. The Portuguese did not participate in World War II. That order was given by an archbishop who was with a group of believers in Fatima.🌍📍

Muchos pensaran que el cristo fue construido para imitar, el que esta en brasil pero la historia va mas alla de una simple copia! resulta que lo que llevo a la construccion de este hermoso monumento es un homenaje del pueblo Portugues a Cristo porque los Portugueses no participaron en la segunda guerra mundial esa orden fue dada por un arzobispo que estaba con un grupo de creyente en FATIMA.🗺️🚩
Welcome to one of the less-frequented viewpoints, and the one I find most interesting for photographing the 25th of April Bridge. It's called "Ponto panorâmico Cristo Rei." To get there, it's very easy. Just take the dirt road on the left side, in front of the entrance to Cristo Rei! At the end, there's something like an abandoned fishing village, or possibly an old factory.🧭📸
Bienvenidos a uno de los miradores poco frecuentados y el que para mi es el mas interesante para fotografiar el puente 25 de abril se llama: "Ponto panorâmico Cristo Rei", para llegar aqui es muy facil solo bajar por el camino de tierra del lado izquierdo en frente de la entrada hacia el Cristo! al final hay como una villa abandonada de pescadores o posiblemente era una antigua fabrica.🚩⛵

I don't think there are any large, luxury hotels in this city; it's more in the center of Lisbon. However, check out the prices, they're quite attractive. You can find hotels for 53 euros per day. Remember, you only need to buy the 40-euro pass to go to Lisbon by boat in less than 30 minutes. A good choice for a vacation!⛵🧭🌅
Creo que no hay hoteles grandes de lujos en esta ciudad, eso es mas al centro de Lisboa, sin embargo fijate los precios son bastante atractivos puedes conseguir hoteles a 53 euros por dia, recuerda que solo tienes que comprar el pase de 40euros para ir a lisboa por barco en menos de 30 minutos, una buena eleccion para vacacionar!🛞⚓

I think that in Portugal you should always visit all the churches possible because many of them have medieval origins, this one here was built in 1555 during the Age of Discovery, and it's curious because Almada is much older than the Medieval Age, in fact there are records from the Bronze Age, and of course it's to be supposed because the river provides resources and is a safe transport route, it was the Romans who took advantage of Almada to transport themselves by river, but the Arabs in the 9th century were the ones who made the city grow, in fact almada comes from the Arabic: "al-ma'dah" that means high ground and it was the Arabs themselves who built the fortress to protect the northern lands where the Portuguese already lived.🌍📍

Creo que de Portugal siempre tienes que visitar todas las iglesias posibles porque muchas de ellas tienen origenes medievales, esta de aqui fue construida en 1555 en la era de los descubrimientos, y es curioso porque Almada es mucho mas antigua que la edad medieval, en realidad hay registros de la edad de bronce, y claro es de suponer porque el rio fornece recursos y es una via de transporte segura, fueron los Romanos que aprovecharon Almada para transportarse por el rio, pero los Arabes en el siglo IX fueron los que hicieron crecer la ciudad, en realidad almada viene del arabe: "al-ma'dah" eso es terreno elevado y fueron los mismos Arabes que construyeron la fortaleza para cuidar las tierras del Norte donde ya habitaban los Portugueses.🗺️🚩
Almada has that "basic" tourist feel, while in the center of Lisbon you can do nighttime sightseeing. Here it's more limited, and honestly, a little more dangerous. Portugal is super safe, but you can't wander around in crowded neighborhoods or places, of course, like every country in Europe! They have a historic area with an old movie theater, and the town hall is there. I recommend that area.🌄🌍
Almada tiene ese toque de turismo "basico" mientras en el centro de Lisboa puedes hacer turismo de noche aqui es mas limitado, y sinceramente un poco mas peligroso, Portugal es super seguro pero no puedes andar en barrios o sitios afastados, claro como todo pais de europa!! tienen una zona historica con un cine antiguo, alli esta el ayuntamiento esa zona te la recomiendo.🌅🧭
The castle is incredible, isn't it? It looks a bit more modern, but it was clearly rebuilt. The original fortress belonged to the Arabs and was built in the 9th century. Years later, it was conquered by the Portuguese. You can only see it from the outside; you can't get in because it's a police or military station! But it's worth it because there's a small viewing platform nearby.
Increible el castillo no? parece algo mas moderno pero claramente esto fue recostruido, porque la fortaleza original era de los Arabes y fue construida en el siglo IX luego anos despues fue conquistada por los Portugueses, solo puedes verlo desde afuera no tienes acceso porque es una estacion de policia o militar! pero vale la pena porque cerca hay un pequeno mirador.
