We arrive at our first "Anta" or Dolmen, which has the name: "Livramento", first we must emphasize that the name is based on the "Virgem do livramento" and is that in the seventeenth century when the Dolmen was a "pagan" structure for the Christianity of the time it proceeded to Christianize it and for this a chapel was built that would serve to worship the "virgem livramento" who according to stories appeared several times near the area where there was a water source and granted some miracles, to this day a via crucis continues to be carried out to move the sculpture of the virgin from the local church to the chapel of the Dolmen where the image appeared.🚙⛰️🧔🏻♂️
Llegamos a nuestra primera "Anta" o Dolmen, que tiene como nombre: "Livramento", primero debemos destacar que el nombre esta basado en la "Virgem do livramento" y es que en el siglo XVII al ser el Dolmen una estructura "pagana" para el cristianismo de la época se procedió a cristianizarla y para ello fue construida una capilla que serviría para rendir culto a la "virgem livramento" quien según relatos apareció varias veces cerca de la zona donde había una fuente de agua y concedió algunos milagros, hasta el día de hoy se continúa realizando un viacrucis para mover la escultura de la virgen de la iglesia local hasta la capilla del Dolmen donde apareció la imagen.🌍🙋🏻♂️🚩

This structure, already classified as a national heritage monument, is a set of megalithic stones that is part of the line of dolmens of Nossa Senhora da Tourega in the Alentejo region, in Evora, also dating from the late Stone Age to be more exact in the: Neo-Chalcolithic / Chalcolithic, it presents a very well preserved polygon-shaped chamber.🌍🙋🏻♂️

This is a clear example of human engineering and improvisational skills for settlements that didn't have the tools we would have today, and who were able to lift stones weighing many tons. With seven support stones, this dolmen is located in the Escoural area, next to the A6 highway that connects Évora with Lisbon, it has a diameter of 3.2 meters, as you can see it is the one with the worst condition of preservation of all those we visited today, it does not have a roof, it was built in the Upper Neolithic more than 3000 years ago, it is important to highlight that this is located on a semi-private property, with a hunting sign, be careful, and close the doors well.🚩🙋🏻♂️
Con siete piedras de soporte, este dolmen se ubica en la zona de Escoural, al lado de la carretera A6 que conecta Evora con Lisboa, tiene un diámetro de 3.2 metros, como pueden ver es la que peor condición de preservación presenta de todas las que visitamos hoy, no dispone del techo, fue construida en el neolítico superior hace más de 3000 años, es importante resaltar que esta se encuentra en una propiedad semiprivada, con letrero de caza, tengan cuidado, y cierren bien las puertas.🌍🧔🏻♂️
