Today I came to the Sierra de Laroco, taking advantage of my vacation to visit this mountain range that borders Spain. I read that it's known for its quartz rock formations in specific areas. These landscapes are really beautiful and we see bushes everywhere and large granite rocks, there is no description in the area about places to visit because the area is a protected zone and we cannot do many things, we always need to ask permission before flying the drone so as not to disturb the local fauna, I am going to take a hike on the way to Spain to investigate the famous quartz stones.🚩🌍
Estos paisajes son realmente hermosos y vemos arbustos por todos lados y grandes rocas de granito, no hay descripción en la zona sobre locales para visitar porque el área es una zona protegida y no podemos hacer muchas cosas, siempre necesitamos pedir permiso antes de pilotear el drone para no perturbar la fauna local, voy a realizar una caminata camino hacia España para investigar las famosas piedras de cuarzo.🌷🌻📸
I REPEAT, I WASN'T ALLOWED to take photos if I made a video because it's a protected area. Normally, they don't give you both permits. These villages are over 1,000 meters above sea level. My goal was to climb the mountain and try to reach 1,200 meters, which is supposedly where quartz is produced.🗺️🧭🌍
REPITO NO TENÍA PERMITIDO fotografiar si realizaba un video por ser un área protegida, normalmente no te dan ambos permisos. Estas aldeas están sobre 1000 metros de altitud, mi objetivo era escalar la montaña y tratar de llegar sobre los 1200 que es donde supuestamente se produce el cuarzo.🌷🚩

To climb the mountains we must take a path along the "entre-palheiros" trail that does not appear on the map, but we find it in the village of Sezelhe, and then there always walk to the right in the direction of Spain, that is, to the NORTH, when we see the mountains we will take that path and when we notice white in the landscape we will go to inspect it because it is surely quartz... This has to be done only in summer because in winter the entire region has snow and it is impossible to distinguish things.😱🌄🚩
Para subir las montañas debemos realizar un trayecto del sendero: "entre-palheiros" que no aparece en el mapa, pero lo ubicamos en la aldea de Sezelhe, y luego allí siempre caminar hacia la derecha en dirección a España o sea al NORTE, cuando veamos las montañas vamos a tomar ese camino y cuando notemos blanco en el paisaje iremos a inspeccionar porque seguramente es cuarzo... Esto tiene que ser únicamente en verano porque en invierno toda la región tiene nieve y es imposible distinguir las cosas.🌍🦿🦾

I had never seen quartz like this before, so I'm very impressed. I've actually done hundreds of trails and never seen this mineral like this in nature, and it's quite expensive in stores. Flying my drone over the mountains was quite fun.🌍📍

After photographing the quartz and launching my drone, I decided to turn back because the temperature was rising significantly. I'll return the next day to hike from Portugal to Spain.🌍🚩
Luego de fotografiar el cuarzo y lanzar mi drone decidi devolverme porque la temperatura estaba subiendo mucho, al otra día voy a retornar para hacer la caminata desde Portugal a España.🌄🧭
