Whereas in the second match, it looks like a fight for 2nd place where RR won easily on the high scoring ground. LSG did lots of mistakes and it cost them a lot which we saw in the result. RR lost Buttler early as Avesh Khan did strike in his first over. He bowled so well and thus got a wicket. In the 4th over of the inning, Mohsin Khan dropped an easy catch of Jaiswal in the Avesh Khan bowl which cost them a lot as then he scored lots of boundaries and gave momentum to RR in the powerplay. Soon Jaiswal is also out on Badoni's bowling. Once again RR looks struggling but from one end Paddikal keeps scoring and runs around 200 SR. When he was out, RR became slow but lat last Boult played a nice shot inning which took them to a good total of 178 runs. Rahul was playing slowly and trying to pass Boult over. He took chance on other bowlers and hit six but the next ball of Prasidh Krishna, was out and his team was in trouble as 30/3 in power play. Stoinis once again failed to score big and LSG was only able to manage 154 runs and lost the match by 24 runs. Trent Boult got man of the match for his brilliant opening spell. The reason behind the loss of LSG is the poor decision of bowling as their main bowler who did good bowling and took wickets didn't get their full spell as Avesh Khan and Holder bowled 3 and 2 overs respectively. The experiment of Badoni at no 3 also does not go well as well as giving lots of chances to Stoinis is also not going well as Lewis is much better than him. Maybe they are already qualified and thus trying this but with it, they may lose their 2nd number in the points table as miss chances of playing one extra match.
