Printing a Resin build plate/ Reblog Lottery DUO Bonus

In this post I share something I am fairly proud off even though I did not design it and it's not quite perfect the fact that I made it with my printers and a cheap magnetic plate is really neat.

So with resin printers it's a messy ordeal, you can't swap materials out nearly as easily and also you can't start printing after you are finished without clearing of a hopefully successful print from you build plate and cleaning it before you can start again.

If you have another plate you can start again a lot faster without waiting to clean your one and only plate.

Well I was exploring models for my resin printer and I saw someone made a plate and I though that was super cool, I printed it out of clear petg on one of my non resin printers, and I ordered a magnetic build plate and sticker for 15 bucks, I already used one of these magnetic plates on my original build plate but this printed one is better in that regard as compensates for this by having a slightly smaller heigh.

The magnetic plate ended up being a bit bigger then the printed plate but I did not want to bother so I just bough some fancy sealant on the bottom sides.

Well it does the trick! and I have been putting it to work.

Here is some stuff I printed awhile back it was mostly failures but it was not due to the plate and just poor setting in the slicer .
