So its the day of an actual ride and we headed off from Manali. The destination was Jispa. Due to a landslide earlier in the day, we had to go thru Rohtang Pass which was indeed a great decision as the views were just stunning.

The roads were nice , the weather ... well ... 10 degrees celcius if I remembered with strong winds. We had to stop just to add on some additional gear as it was getting pretty chill.

These were the kind of views which you never get tired off.

wow and just wow !

My friends took a shot of me =D The background was just ... how should i say it "breath taking" especially for someone who sees it for the first time.

We did take a coupl of breaks to have a hot cup of Masala tea just to warm up. These were the kind of "stops" which were conveniently found every few kilometres lucky for us.

When we finally did reach our location at Jispa. We stayed at a small AirBnB like place which was surrounded by mountains.

That was what I was pointing at. The entire journey took around 7 hours from Manali and we were extremely tired by the time we got to Jispa.
At nights when the weather is clear, you can literally see the Milky Way from here. This was just one of the shots taken just using my iPhone.

Will continue the rest of the journey in my next blog =D
