It's been 1 year now since @condescension implemented his Hive upvote checklist and it has also been one year since he has actually given anybody an upvote. Yet @condescension has posted on numerous occasion about why he won't upvote Hive users. He has a list of rules. He promises that he does read posts every day but it just so happens the criteria for posts just don't pass his checklist. He harps on about wanting to upvote users because he is a man of the people. The good man. An honest man and a stands up for the good of Hive. There has been a lull on Hive lately because the upper crusts with all the HP don't curate so it's relying on the middle class who do curate to spread out their upvotes among the starving. But the checklist is stopping him from doing so.
Just when he thinks he found one , he does a word count and the post has come in at 999 words. 1 more word and he would have upvoted the user 100% which would be a princely sum of $50. He was so disgruntled with the Hive Community that he wrote another post complaining that nobody was complying to his strict rules to get an upvote. He was so disgruntled about it that he even wrote his long list of rules for the Hive Community to see.
Criteria for an upvote from @condescension - User must not be powering down. - User must not have powered down in last 3 months. - Word count must be over 1000 words. - The content should bring value to Hive.(whatever that means) - The poster must be active. - The poster must have 500 HP or more. - KE ratio must under 5. - User must have commented on another post over a rolling 2 week period - User must not have more than 5 alias's - The user must source al his images because he hates nothing more than copyright infringements. - Post must not be a post scam Communities. - User must not be using any auto voter system - User must not self vote the post - User must not upvote their own comments - User must have upvoted my post at least once - User must not use AI
@condescension scanned the latest Hive post "The Epstein List" that had potential to be upvoted but looked up at the word count. 995 words. For fuck sake he muttered to himself. Another one for the scrap heap. The Epstein List had only 995 so this was not to be upvoted.
He read another post "Photo Proof of Interdimensional beings at Miami Bay Side Mall" but the photos were not sourced. "Looks AI" he thought to himself. Another one on the scrapheap.
Onto the next post. Oh here is an interesting one. "The Complete Roswell Incident". Ok poster is active. Content is good. Aliens woooah. Oh wait , What do we have here. A KE ratio of 12. Onto the next one.
@condescension was getting angry again. Another 30 minutes spend checking posts against his checklist and still no upvote and the content was good.
Lets move onto the next one. Solving Hilbert's Maths Problem" OK user looks active. Post is 200,000 words, check. Does not upvote his own posts. Didn't use AI. She has 900 HP. This is looking good. OHHHHHHHHH YESSSSSSS, I mean NOOOOOOOOO she powered down 20HP 2 months ago. Scrapheap for her. I must add another point to my criteria just in case.
- No groundbreaking maths problems Breaking News posts such as Epstein Lists or Alien posts.
@condescension started angerly drafting another post about his famous checklist and the lack of "Good Content" on Hive. He was at 100% voting power for almost a year now. He posted another narcissistic moanfest of a post around the drivel he was encountering on Hive.
Just as he pressed publish a notification popped up on his timeline. It was his mate @sarkymark . He posted a video playing a videogame with a warrior slaying the latest dragon with no armour and just a wooden sword. Sarky hasn't published a post in around 2 years because he couldn't be arsed. He has @sarkymark on 80% auto vote because he had more Hive Power than him and Sarky was cool nerd as they say in the dev world. He probably even had sex..... with a woman. The post had no words and sarky was in the middle of his latest powerdown. "Maybe he is investing in some new Hive project that involves half chess , half Katan and half Monopoly but with kittens as the protagonist." thought @condescension Sarky had also gave himself an upvote. "It's probably a mistake" thought @condescension Best give him a 100% upvote to let him know I am still his friend.
