Summary
Week 2 was surprisingly good seeing most entrants sail smoothly into the next round as most of you went for Arsenal and Chelsea. 10 people went for Arsenal as they cruised to victory over Leeds on Saturday evening. Leeds got a rude awakening after their victory last week. 5 of you selected Chelsea and they demolished West Ham on Friday evening. Fans were seen leaving the London Stadium in their droves. A couple of wily old Last Man Standing contestants picked Bournemouth which was a risky one considering we could not really tell if they were good or bad against Liverpool last week but @nathan007 and @cryptoandcoffee now have the upper hand heading into week 3 with their strong teams still left in their selection armoury.
A couple of big fish fell at the famous week 2 hurdle however. It was interesting only one poor soul selected Man City to beat the European Cup winners Spurs. And Spurs thought them a lesson winning 2-0 . We have to say goodbye to @yeckingo1 unfortunately. Good game buddy. @blockchainfpl who is a giant in term of footballing knowledge shrewdly went for Villa to beat Brentford and came up short. A surprise result out of the bag from Keith Andrews Brentford who maybe might not be so doomed after all. Emery did not look like a happy camper on the touchline on Saturday and you couldn't blame him. Villa left @blockchainfpl down this week big time.
@mypathtofire selected Man United according to their manager had the most fantastic loss against Arsenal last week and he said they could beat anyone after this. Well yee couldn't beat Fulham pal! And they signed nobody. I is sad to see my aul buddy go out at this early stage.
So only 3 out this week which is good for Last Man Standing Week 2. 24 brave souls get to choose a team for another week. Who will survive up to the international break.

Source So above are the fixtures where you guys should be able to select a winner out of this bunch. Remember you cannot pick the same team twice so many of you are getting through the top teams like I get through cake. I reckon @nathan007 is going to go for Brentford this week or Everton such is his ability to get rid of his weaker teams and leave the heavy hitters for later in the contest. A risky game but he seems to be flying it so far. Selections in by Saturday morning this time as there is no match on Friday night.
