I’ve never been the type who cares too much about fashion. What I want is just a few clothes that make me feel comfortable and easy. When I open my closet, I don’t want stress, I want peace. I don’t need too many clothes; I only need the ones I really use.
The funny part is, I still keep some clothes I don’t even wear again. Some are too tight, some too big, and some just don’t feel like me anymore. They just take up space for nothing. If I can donate them, at least somebody else will use them better.
My own style is simple one or two shirts that fit well, trousers I can wear anywhere, and shoes that match almost anything. Nothing loud, nothing too stylish. Just clothes that work for me.
One of my everyday shirts, simple and useful
Even with shoes, I don’t like too many. A sandal I can use every day is enough for me.
Minimalism also means keeping what I use often. For me, minimalism in clothing is not about strict rules. It’s just about freedom. Less clothes, less stress, less clutter. At the end of the day, I just want to look at my closet and see only things that truly belong there.
