Hope you all are doing great. Last week I shared this post on the crochet shirt I made. I did mention it was supposed to be a couple's set. So good news, I did make it a couple sets but bad news I switched up on the style. To be honest, I was quite busy and just wanted to make something simple for the woman - me. So without further ado, let’s get into what I made for myself. This dress was inspired by my excitement for working with basic stitches again and the fact that I don’t own a long crochet dress, which shouldn’t be in my opinion. ![IMG_2990.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/blezyn/23uFHP1EF8UpYBMXqgibhtUJjNjsNZaqRAU6Q663NES2qCTcAyN7j8WWh9nYy76J7rrRi.jpeg) Since I chose to just go with a mesh dress, I decided not to mix it up with any cream. Maybe because I am not a huge fan of cream color or maybe because mixing up the colors may take more time, I can’t say, all I know is I am happy with just doing all blue. I will be sharing a step by step process on how I made the dress. ![IMG_2994.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/blezyn/23vhpzGNrtP2bjXf3xkadYvJjZ4MaQiBQvBMfqA8siRg7HF3U2vqjFXUAmhbkuuCmacsr.jpeg) Tutorial DC - Double Crochet CH - Chain ST - Stitch SS - Slip Stitch TC - Treble Crochet ![IMG_2992.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/blezyn/23uQfvVejBYjAqmu4sLRV494LC9SLFLqe9RTm8FAvKB4Cd4M3W68dtFcV8NgTAbmWyVrU.jpeg) Part 1 Row 1: Start with a chain of 7 inches and work DC ch 1, skip 1 st, DC in the next stitch and repeat till end of the row Row 2: For the next row, start with Ch 4 and 1 DC in the same ST, then CH 1 and place DC in the previous CH 1 space. Ch 1 and make TC in the Ch 1 from the previous row, repeat till end of the Row, end with a TC and turn. Row 50 : start with Ch 5 and TC in the 2nd Ch 1 space from the previous row, Ch 1 and make TC in the Ch 1 from the previous row, repeat till end of the Row,Ch 5 and turn. Row 51 - 89 : Repeat Row 50 Once you’ve gotten your desired length. Make tassels and attach to the open Ch 5 spaces. ![IMG_20240105_154540~2.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/blezyn/23w2mG3jkKh3R8FbqytjH8osYgHw98B6G33JrYcycWEUDjRJermVGXePiXzL4LhtpKx6y.jpeg) When I was done with the dress, I decided to make a bra and panties with it and at the last minute I decided a ruffle hat would not be a bad idea, so I went ahead and made a ruffle hat too. Here is how it all came together. I hope you like it. ![IMG_4407.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/blezyn/23xevrQERnkofsjKuGzYbjJC6B21LkqasRKmrQPjr9Hm2eJHxH7PBHejhog3iKLxm8Bqf.jpeg) Thanks for stopping by❤
