Making time with our families becomes more rare when we're growing up and slowly entering the adulting stage of life. An in my case, it became more hard to maintain those kinds of moments with them, here's why.
As a 20 year old eldest son, of course, I was given the responsibility of providing assistance to my parents in all kinds of ways that I can. As some of you know, my family was blessed to have a business, a Bakery. For over two years, we have been fortunate to have a lot of customers to keep our business running. A good business needs a good manager, and my mom is the one who manages all of the things that happen inside the bakery, while my dad is the one responsible for the production of breads and pastries as the head baker.

Me? I have different roles inside the business, most of the time I am the cook who, of course, cooks good food for everyone inside our business, including my family and the employees, from breakfast to dinner. Our bakery also serves as our home, so just like any other home, there are also household chores that I also do, like washing the dishes and cleaning our rooms. Lastly, whenever I'm done doing those small tasks, it will be my time to take place as a cashier and a salesman. It will be my responsibility to handle all the financial-related things like deliveries, expenses, and other things.
Whenever my family wants to go out and have a great time, I have no choice but to stay and do my job. And those are the reasons why it is rare for me to have a good bond time with my family. Though, with all of that being said, I am thankful to God for He has given us this kind of privilege and overflowing blessings in this tough reality of life that we all have.
This day is one of those rare moments where I was able to have a great time with my family and have a chance to go on a night trip and have a small feast. This is the CasaMia Cafe, one of the places that I really want to eat at, sadly it was already closed when we arrived. We are located on a mountain filled with beautiful places to eat, surrounded by various unique resorts, and lots of campsites at the top of the mountain that have breathtaking views and peaceful sceneries that the nature offer.
We ended up eating here in Alagyan, which I am also dead curious about. We've been in this place for almost three years and this will be my first time eating here. I see this place every day at the roadside whenever I ride the bus, especially at night because it has an aesthetic design that will definitely catch your eye.
Just look at how aesthetic and cozy this place is. We are lucky that time because there are no other customers and we have the whole place to enjoy.

We had a small feast that time and my mom ordered a lot! But I didn't have the opportunity to take every photo of each dish because everyone was already eating when I pulled out my phone hahaha. We also had a bunch of Lumpiang Shanghai, french fries, and a few light beers that night.
We had a great night! Had a chance to talk about the old life and had some fun in that short time. I know it will be a long time before this kind of opportunity happens again, But I'll be glad to have this rare opportunity again than to have no chance to be with my family forever. We need to appreciate these moments till we can because we don't know what life could bring us. Be thankful for everything, and appreciate life.
