I have gotten some feedback that reminders are pretty useful when it comes to the regular events held in WOO. So here I am again with a quick reminder for any upcoming events.
If you’ve been wondering why the WOO Discord feels a little calmer than usual (with no events this weekend), the reason is a pretty simple one: Booker Man has been away this week. He shared with everyone that he was hitting the road to go see Perry ahead of his hip replacement surgery, and most of his time since then has been spent looking after Perry and keeping the community updated on how things are going.
With that kind of commitment, it’s no surprise that there aren’t any big events planned for this weekend. WOO has been running at a busy pace lately with prediction contests, AMAs, and last-minute specials, but sometimes real life takes the front seat — and right now Perry’s health is the priority. Booker Man has already posted updates from the ER, letting everyone know Perry was having a tough time with stress and panic ahead of surgery. It’s good to see the outpouring of support from members in chat, with plenty of people sending their prayers and encouragement.
So while this weekend might not see the usual flurry of in-ring chaos or trivia throwdowns, it feels like the right kind of pause. A chance for the community to rally together in a quieter way, showing Perry and Booker that WOO isn’t just about the events, it’s about the people behind them. When things settle down, you can be sure the energy will come roaring back — but for now, the best thing we can all do is keep Perry in our thoughts and let Booker focus on what matters most.
