Gestern gab es schlechte Nachrichten für die Finanzwelt. Trump (das Trampeltier) droht China wieder mit 100% Zöllen, nachdem China den Handel mit seltenen Erden massiv einschränken will.
Ist das das Geplänkel vor dem Treffen zwischen Trump und Xi? Die Reaktion an den Börsen war erstmal über fast alle Assets Risk off. Eigentlich nicht verwunderlich. Die eher schwachen Monate September und Oktober waren dieses Jahr alles andere als schwach. Es gab ein Rekordhoch nach dem anderen.
Und was macht Bitcoin in der Krise?
Bitcoin als Kriseninvestment, Wertspeicher? Nicht wirklich. Der Kurs geht 10% runter, im extrem sogar 18% Verlust. Wirklich stabil würde ich das nicht nennen. Da sind noch viel zu viele Zocker investiert, denen es nur um schnelle Gewinnen geht. Und die verkaufen in so einer Situation schnellst möglich um die Verluste zu begrenzen. Oder werden zum Verkauf gezwungen, wenn sie mit Hebel versuchen noch mehr Gewinn zu machen.
Und die Alt-Coins?
Da sieht es nicht besser aus, im Gegenteil, die verlieren noch mehr.
Auch Öl taucht ab, wenn es nach Krise aussieht.
Was bleibt da am Finanzmarkt übrig?
Genau, das gute alte Kriseninvestment Gold. Gold läuft ja schon das ganze Jahr über sehr gut. Da gab es zwar einige Monate eine Seitwärtsrange. Aber seit Mitte August geht es wieder schön nach oben.
Und was macht Hive? Hive kennt nur eine Richtung, immer tiefer. Ein Trauerspiel, auch wenn viele hier das nicht wirklich wahr haben wollen.

There are still far too many gamblers invested who are only interested in quick profits. And in such a situation, they sell as quickly as possible to limit their losses. Or they are forced to sell if they try to make even more profit with leverage.
And the altcoins?
Things aren't looking any better there; on the contrary, they're losing even more.
Oil also plummets when it looks like a crisis is imminent.
What's left in the financial market?
Exactly, the good old crisis investment gold. Gold has been performing very well all year. There was a sideways range for a few months, but since mid-August, it's been moving nicely upwards again.
And what's Hive doing? Hive only knows one direction: ever lower. A tragedy, even if many here don't really want to admit it.
