Und es gibt Aktien, von denen man ganz selten etwas hört. Warum? Weil sie einfach langweilig sind für die Medien. Da gibt es kein rauf und runter, schlecht für die Schlagzeilen. Aber eben gut für Langfristinvestoren.

So eine langweilige Aktie ist O'Reilly Automotive. Da gibt es schon auch Kursschwankungen. Aber wenn man sich den logarithmischen Langfristchart anschaut, dann kann man da fast eine Gerade einzeichnen. Aber mit einer durchschnittlichen Rendite von 22,2% über 32 Jahre war das nicht die schlechteste Investition.

Und mit dieser Philosophie machen sie ordentlich Geschäft. Passt auch zu meiner Philosophie. Hab mir ein einziges Mal einen Neuwagen gegönnt, ansonsten immer nur Gebrauchtwagen.
