Splinterlands Art Contest // Week 331 // ASH GOLEM VS. STONE GOLEM

For this weeks contest I decided to go a little old school featuring my two favorite Splinterlands Golems in a rockem sockem robots boxing ring.

I used this image of the Ash Golem for one of my references.

And I used this image of the Stone Golem as my other reference. I used Poser Pro to create the entire scene.

I have always been a fan of old school toys, so my first goal was to build a 3D model of a Rockem Sockem Robots toy boxing ring.

The first thing I did was put a name on the ring.

Next, I added my two Golems to the ring, as you can see they had no textures or eyes at this point.

So I added textures and some eye props, and immediately I began to fall in love with the scene.

Then I added fire to the Ash Golem.

And rendered the scene.
