Is it REALLY Bedtime? It's always a sad time of year, when I get to the end of gardening. I know it's coming, every fall, but still, I hate to see it arrive.
one of my last harvests, a few beets, some tomato, some carrot, a couple of eggplant, and peppers, too. Oh, and the bowl of raspberries.

It's that time of year, putting the garden to bed, maybe? I also make some great appetizers with my harvest, Sicilian caponata (with a Greek Flair), some roasted beets, and a wonderful centerpeice for my wife's table for her Book Club!
