I repeat this all the time, but it's getting harder and harder to say it, as summer is my favorite season. Especially living in a big city.
My passion for summer comes from my childhood spent in the country with my grandparents, and it was fueled by two main causes: freedom and liberty. The same thing from two perspectives: the freedom afforded by a big vacation and the liberty of being in the middle of nature.
Childhood is long gone, but the love of summer is not, fueled now by the love of the sea.

### Summer Sequences in Bucharest, Romania.
I wish I could be at the seaside right now, but I can't... and I don't think it could get any cooler. I used to go to the beach in May and June, and again in September.
It's so hot that I don't dare leave the house during the day. However, I have to visit different places in the city, as I have obligations, especially medical checkups that I can't postpone.
*I crossed Izvor Park in the city center.*
The Izvor Park is relatively young, I would say, which overlooks graves. Not graves of people, it's graves of houses. A whole old neighborhood of Bucharest, the Uranus neighborhood, was demolished in the 1980s.
At first, it was just a large field with no trees; then landscaping and planting began, and now it resembles a park. I didn't like it at first, but now I've come to appreciate certain aspects. I like that it looks like a field, with grass, trees, not too many, and dirt paths.
Who would believe that this path leads to the most famous building in Romania, one of the largest administrative buildings in the world?
The Romanian Parliament, originally known as the House of the People.
This field-turned park is a result of this monstrous building. Dozens of hectares were demolished in the 1980s during Romania's communist era to build a civic center, as desired by dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu.
I let myself go along the path that reminded me of the roads of my childhood, and before approaching the building, I look at what the summer makes of this place.
First of all, I am glad that nature wins every time, it just needs a little soil, a little rain, and a little peace...
Those who are not afraid of sunburn will find here a good place of peace and rest. Someone who really isn't scared of sunstroke!
It appears that men find it more difficult to withstand the heat than women.
I quickly arrived near the big building. I must say that I am not an admirer.
Much more beautiful is nature!
