Hello everyone ๐
As the New Year is approaching, I think we should take advantage of the fact that despite the cold weather, everywhere is alive and colorful. We should go as many places as we can. This time I wanted to go to Prizren.
It takes about 2 hours by car from where I live to Prizren. The road is long but when we travel during the day, we never get bored. Because there are green fields accompanying us along the way. From time to time we see vegetable fields. Time passes quickly and pleasantly as we look around. Sometimes we stop on the way, get some air and drink coffee. After a long journey, we finally arrived in this beautiful place.
First we walked around the center of the city and took some nice photos. This place is really peaceful. People are extremely calm and polite. I can say that I don't hear any noise ๐ But still, compared to the city we live in, this is a more lively city. It hosts a lot of tourists because it has historical beauties. This may be the reason for the density.
We took a little walk. We came across a big river running through the middle of the city. The name of this river is ''Bistrica River''. There are a few small bridges on it. A little further on we could see the famous Prizren Castle, but we didn't go there because it was too high up and the weather was cold.
In the meantime, I saw a very old tree. Its branches were so thick that I wondered how old it was and approached it. When I asked the people there, they told me that it was one of the oldest trees and that this plane tree had existed since the 14th-15th century. Its size was much bigger than it looked in the photo.
After walking around here for a while, we made our way to "Abi Carshia", a luxury open-air shopping center. I can say that it looks much more beautiful in summer. I will come here again in the summer and share it with you ๐
It was a bit cold and of course we wanted a coffee to warm up. I opted for Caffe Macchiato, as I usually do. They make a really good coffee here. In fact, they usually drink Espresso here. Their coffee culture seems a bit strange to me :) Every time they go out they don't come home without a coffee.
We end our Prizren trip here. It was a very fun, historical trip.
Thank you for reading and accompanying me. :)
See you again soon.
